hitmanNo2
True. Every parts kit with sights is a butchered upper as those bits are welded on I assume. I'm not seeing any mini Uzi parts kits though.
SuperCriollo
Why not integrate that kit in your own build? You will need printing the support pieces anyway, but with the stamped parts you could achieve much better surface finish as opposed to 3d printing.
hitmanNo2
Good plan. That kit is cheap as chips. It would bring down the price dramatically.
swatti
Entire uzi body is pressed. The shapes are designed to be easy for that purpose. It's just cut from a sheet, pressed into shape of the details, like the side-bumps and then pressed/bent into the actual body. My knowledge of accurate terms is lacking. I want a kit similar to Guarder, slap it on and go play. Those are also NOT mini uzi parts. Despite the looks, they won't fit and in that part are certain details needed for the kit to work. Fabricating those would be hard in a pre-built part.
swatti
Small update: Got a decent offer to scan the parts. Now to find a place to print them...
wildething
would you consider doing a full size kit for the mini uzi?
swatti
would you consider doing a full size kit for the mini uzi? Short answer: most likely can't do it. I have no access to a full size uzi or even a clone and I doubt the local gunshop would just let me borrow a body from one of theirs.
