blobface
Another M4, yey! No seriously, this is pretty cool. For those of us that remember Real Sword mythical electric blowback with realistic bolt group, this Korean company seems to have beaten them to it! If you pause the video where you can see the mag, it seems like it has feed lips like GBB, wonder if it stops firing at the last round and locks to the rare as well, if so, this might be something I would abandon my TM next-gen for! (provided the Korean power level can be improved)
Isamu
WAAAAAAAAAT?!! @_@ I just bought a we katana and modded an old Dboys upper for rifleman power, but I would buy one of those in a heartbeat, just hope price is not on the PTW levels
Beeingmyself
If able to power up blowback this could be interesting
renegadecow
I'll wait until someone rips it apart. SK has a very low fps ceiling so maybe this tech is afforded by sacrificing a lot of air volume.
kilo_64
video says available now but it's nowhere to be found?!
Honzo
i wonder how hard it recoils
The Insider
note the low korea FPS is general to just get the guns into the country...I went to a competition there this year and was a 1J limit.... which is quite reasonable.... compared to the legal 0.2j limit. Although this could also lead to problems geting them out of the country... might have to wait for the china copy... lol. I'm told this design was originally made in 2012. But now I have my Korean contacts making further inquires...
Crying Scum
I wonder if this blowback will be too "gimmicky" and never skirmishable, in sense of FPS and battery life. Powering the spring for the piston and recoil mechanism will most properly tank the battery life. As for FPS, increasing the spring power might help it, but as drawback the ROF and battery again will suffer. Still, I am interested in how it works, hopefully will see a more in-depth video of this gun soon.
QQexDERA
It's like the gearbox from a TOP shell-ejecting M4 humped a GBBR, and you know what? I want one. Nice to hear some Metallica first thing in the morning as well :-p
Bada Bing
Top Japan made a non shell ejecting ebb M4 which looked cool, same action as a GBBR only electric. Locks back on empty too. https://youtu.be/XK1lzWC_kOM I wouldn't mind something like this, gives the realistic action and reloading drills without magazines which weigh a ton. Mike_West
Knowing Volante, he'll figure something up.
TheFull9
da fuq? Who are these people? This sure came out of nowhere. Most airsoft companies big up their vapourware prototypes of fancy new AR designs for years then never produce anything at all. These guys have done the opposite and I find it disconcerting. blobface
It seems pretty unique, it's tempting to think it's just the TOP gun without shells, but looking at the images from GBLS vs the gearbox diagram of TOP, they seem to be different enough to assume GBLS didn't just modify TOP into their own. (TOP gearbox)
thatguy404
Need..... moaaaaar.... information! Sitting here ready to order an ERG as a spare winter gun, but this looks much more fun!
swatti
The urban legends are real. AR15 AEG with actually something new and interesting...
Isamu
Are these K-scorpion the same guys making this M4? http://serviceapi.nmv.naver.com/flash/convertIframeTag.nhn?vid=BABC1ED8BCF3158E878D3E64A9008C5B093E&outKey=V12250fac4a5ce16f3709a1f9c4b3f1cb39967b5297e927a69187a1f9c4b3f1cb3996&width=720&height=438 http://blog.naver.com/blade0303/90184065675 http://blog.naver.com/blade0303/90177324034 http://blog.naver.com/blade0303/90177271753 Both guns look very similar. Just hope the gun has a reasonable price and is not in the PTW price range @_@
TheFull9
Personally, I wouldn't mind a Systema price tag if it was actually.. you know.. £1200 worth of quality. Not pot metal receivers, fugly trades, a pointlessly chrome commercial spec buffer tube with a weird hop-up and an extremely spotty record as far as internal reliability goes (sorry PTW fans). uscmCorps
Another video: https://youtu.be/Gc6JP0ohv6g This looks quite promising.

renegadecow
What's with the pew pew sound?
Isamu
Looks like it is due to the camera sound or some weird accoustic problem. In the first video sound was fine. Is that a real steel stock?
Tarr
Probably, dont think there is a replica of that out yet.Looks like a briliant design, actual bolt seems to act as a cylinder and nozzle, the spring inside the bolt powers the piston (quick acces for power changes if needed) and the piston is probably held back in a similar fashion to a bolt action rifle but by the last tooth on the gear?Anyone have any ideas about pricing or if this is actually getting released even?Edit: there may even be a separate piston release tooth hiding on the back of the trigger unit by the looks of it, could that mean precocking by default?
blobface
I was hoping that instead of it being held by the last tooth of the gear it's actually held back by some sort of sear, so it would feel like a mechanical trigger, my only concern is the Korean's power level, and whether this can / will be upgraded for the rest of the world.
Tarr
If you take a good look at the back of the "gearbox", especially when you can see it from the side there does look to be a separate tooth at the back of it. Euro power levels and a VSR style hop would be really nice indeed.
TheFull9
Definitely not BS then. Not quite the magnetic wizardry that RS promised (and failed to deliver) but gosh darn'it I'd say it's plenty close enough. I feel like I may have once caught a glimpse of a cheap knock-off of the MOE fixed stock on some random, little-known ACM gear site... problem is I sift through way too much gear/airsoft *suitcase* online to actually remember it all.
