Kamigawa
Hi What magnifier do you guys use? I'll be buying an airsoft replica for my hunting rifle, and it will be used with an Aimpoint M2 Comp. It's important that the bulk of the magnifier body is behind the attachment area, as the magnifier will be mounted very close to the aimpoint. The tube also needs to be 30mm. Siavash
I have found all airsoft ones to fall apart with the recoil on my GBBR, so I went about and bought a Real Eotech G33..
Alias1983
I hear sightmark is a decent low end company. Ymmv

abbadon101
What calibre is your hunting rifle as you may find that no replica will really hold up to the recoil.

Kamigawa
Thanks for all the replies som far! I'm using a Mini 14 in .223/5.56. I will be using a high quality mounting system, as replica mounts usually are poorly made. Have you guys had the actual magnifier fail?
Skarclaw
I can't comment really as I havn't used that magnifier. I have a vector optics red dot as I was tired of having replica red dots not even being able to zero let alone hold it. In any case vector optics are designed for firearms, just at the cheaper end of the spectrum. Its not gonna be as good as an aimpoint but its a lot cheaper too! I'm sure with a high quality mount it would be fine, for a while at least?
Kamigawa
Have any of you guys had magnifiers fogging up, or are they nitrogen purged?
Alias1983
If it says its nitrogen purged it should be.
Beeingmyself
The EXP kan fog a little just after being taken out of the bag in cold weather but after app 1-2 minuttes it is fog free again. And it won't fog up just because you have your face close to it.
