druid799
Flicking through sky yesterday and came across a horrendously bad film about monsters from black holes ! or something on the SIFI Channel . The couple of minutes I watch the ‘special forces’ team looked like they’d been kited out by ‘cheapandnastybbguns.com’ or some other equally quality on-line retailer , very plasticky looking black PASGT helmet , black bomber jackets and unknown make of MP5’s that you could see the winders on the mags AND the inner barrel’s glinting in the morning sun ! hitmanNo2
The KSC are the most "realistic" Airsoft M9 on the market. Until the TM M9A1 came out...that was your only option for "realism". WA was/is the most realistic I'd say. 1
hitmanNo2
most if not all firearms in Den of Thieves SCAR used by the Spartan King has some square-ish contours, probably some early days AEG the robber guy opened up the SAW and a gearbox in there Are you sure? They seemed pretty convincing to me. SAW especially. It was spitting out brass and links. Looked legit.
ED-SKaR
Are you sure? They seemed pretty convincing to me. SAW especially. It was spitting out brass and links. Looked legit. It's possible. Very common for non-firing shots to be filmed with replicas, especially when filming the scene over multiple days they only need to hire the firearms safety guy for the blankfirers for one day. hitmanNo2
Yeah. I was wondering that. When he opens the SAW up I tried to have a good luck but I'm not too familiar with airsoft SAW, nor RS.

aznriptide859
Aren't those airsoft Sordins?

BigAl
Page three and no mention of the Hi Capa's in Torchwood yet? Most the guns in Torchwood/Doctor Who are airsoft, iirc WOlf Armouries supplied then as they do many they productions.
Mike_West
Torchwood is ridiculously old, someone probably mentioned those, and Agents of SHIELD, in the first thread. I remember spotting old JG MP5SD's on IMFDB, in some Czech TV series as well.

Hardcore1-6
Torchwood is.. Old? Oh. Better check the pension. #noteven30yet
ED-SKaR
Torchwood WAS mentioned in the first thread, repeatedly. Even a bunch of people made torchwood hicappas. Those were the days.
BigAl
Ah, that makes sense. Not sure if I saw the original thread.
The Disavowed
I shall remain silent on Stargate and Marui, I know it’s been mentioned before but my memory is not so good these days sonny. I feel so ancient, lol.
Colin_The+Ferret
Not film or TV, but on a recent trip to see "The Book of Mormon", the Warlord, General xxxx Naked and his cohorts are armed with airsoft AK74SUs, AKMs, a Benelli M3 and possibly a chrome springer Beretta 92. Colin_The+Ferret
Just seen Bumblebee. Unless there are still some MC51s in movie prop armouries, one of the lead characters had an Airsoft one.

hitmanNo2
Not quite airsoft but this Antics Skiff air pistol on the poster for the no doubt award winning (ha) Lundgren turd, "Acceleration", stood out like a sore thumb to me. Bonus mention of the very professionally photo shopped, awkward, unnecessary M4 too.
scorch
Watching The Expanse, spotted a gun which looked like a dolled up WE racegun XDm. I'll see if I can grab a screenshot.

I'm catching up on The Expanse Season 4, they do have those there, along with those WE G26s with thingers bolted on them (G26 Advance was it called?), they have half-and-half black and tan SL8s (ironically enough carried by the oppressive militia commanded by a British psycho) and those AEGs that look like straight from the new XCOM games, XR-something. Hanfritter
On imfdb.org are some nice pictures of all the weapons used in The Expanse. WE XDM, Marui G26, APS UAR, WE SCAR,.... too bad we don't have clearer screenshots of the MCRN Pistol Gen.2 I really like the look of Amos' shotgun. Too bad we can't modify A SCAR H to be operated with a shorter mag.
hitmanNo2
You could probably cut down a GBB SCAR H mag. Someone's done it to an M14 mag somewhere.
Mike_West
Ahahahaha, guess what. I'm watching a The Division 2 livestream, and they included... APS UAR. Talk about highly realistic military simulation signed with Tom Clancy's name. The man's gotta be spinning in his grave.
hitmanNo2
The recently released Monster Hunter was full of airsoft grade tactical gear and guns. One of the many things that made me laugh was this PEQ unit's paint job, completely obscuring the light & lasers with the cover on. Whilst his team mate engaged with her Beretta at a target 6x it's effective range lol. Also check out this ballistic helmet complete with polystyrene lining under that flimsy plastic shell.
