Lowprofile
I can't really seem to find any compact airsoft pistols? I want something to wear on my belt behind me is a backup, to use at very close range. Any Suggestions?
BigAl
Glock 19,23,26,27,43, Colt Commander, Detonics, Springfiel XD Compact, Walther PPK/S, HK USP C etc etc...... Have you really tried looking?
Lowprofile
Sorry, I meant subcompact, things around the size of the Sig P938
renegadecow
TM Detonics, Maruzen PPK/S, WE PMM, TM/KJW/WE G26, Stark G42. Smaller than that and you have to forego blowback.
Wingman
I'm luv'n my TM detonics. Not a powerhouse but accurate and standard TM 1911 mags will work as spares. Would like to get my hands on a G26 but they cant be found here now thanks to Gaston.
Marc.RG1
Lots to choose from mate how about a tiny Derringer, not going to get much smaller then that. ATB Marc
curlyboy
The TM Glock 26 is an awesome choice as it is small and accurate (TM ofc) and has enough rounds to be useful as well, I recently bought a 5.11 covert shirt for photography (handy for storing cards, batteries etc in) and the Glock 26 vanishes in it as well. heroshark
Small but practical I'd agree on the detonics for sure. Not really a glock fan myself. It's small but not quite as small as the detonics.
ED-SKaR
HFC colt .25 you wont find a smaller airsoft gas gun. It's not fantastic, but it does shoot. No hop, no blowback, you can't get spare mags, but even if you could they don't have feed lips so you can't carry them separately anyway and only hold 8 rounds.
Lowprofile
https://www.uncompany.com/pageproductdetails.asp?prodid=8724Does anyone know of somewhere still stocking these? Or have they been discontinued? I would rather not get a glock 26 (I've had one)
heroshark
Those hfc colt25's are pretty rubbish tbh. Best nbb compact I've come across is the maruzen ppk/s but won't be easy to find. Would also say that ksc won't either.
Lowprofile
Hmmmmm ok, thanks for the help guys
icolater
The stark 42 is the smallist GBB available, it's actually ok performance wise compared to some of vfc other offerings, it looks really good though like all of vfc stuff. You said you not into glock so what about a WE sub compact px4 (bulldog). Had one for a while and it was very well made IMO.
shmook
Is the WE high cappa 3.8 an option?
renegadecow
Not quite. Still has a full frame. Edit: Scratch that. Smaller frame indeed.
LordElpus
Whilst I loved using the WE baby hicapa, the slide is very heavy and runs into gas efficiency issues in colder temps. Can use full sized and extended hicapa mags if you like that sort of thing.
shmook
Never used one, just seen them
bankz5152
What about the sub compact Px4? Didy pistol on my phone, my spelling will suck
Guges Mk3
Army R45 - Detonics clone >Metal<
FireKnife
To be honest a lot of what is being suggested is not really that near the P238/938 series that the OP ideally looked for. The Detoncis is a touch fat in places and can be heavy in a SOB location, the Glock 26 is also fat and chunky to have their but can be rather light. About the Glock 42 or PPK/S might do well but really you are going to have to go a bit bigger. I personally run a Detonics on my back when I play indoors and that does me well enough indeed . Still if you can get the Glock 42 then it is so small and useful to hide on you, much better than the likes of a HFC (or other) Colt Pocket Hammerless thingy. renegadecow
The Army Detonics is a brick. TM Detonics however is just a bit over 500g if you take the weights out of the plastic grips. Also they're fattest at the grips, much fatter than standard 1911 grips to compensate for having one less finger on the gun. But since there's no real recoil to contend with, you can whittle down aftermarket wood grips (or make your own) slimmer and the thing just melts right into your kidneys at 4 and 6 o'clock carry. But I've fallen out of favor with the Detonics giving way to WE's PMM. With the brown grips on it's superior to it in every aspect.
3vi1-D4n
If only Maruzen did their PPKs with proper magazines then the choice would be clear. There are also the KSC P230, WE M84, and Washan/WA M1934 which are both very slim profile. Slightly wider profiles are likes of G26 and PMM. Personal favourite is the M1934, issue is that mine has a broken blowback unit and parts are impossible to find, and no Serpa. I have a serpa for my PPK but mags are leaky so can't really use them. Lowprofile
That m1934 is looking like the closest thing to what I'm looking for at the moment
renegadecow
In case you're unfamiliar with how tiny the G42 is.
Lowprofile
I was completely unfamiliar with how tiny it is. I even googled it and didn't think it looked that small Thanks for the clarification on that
