Special Ops Posted July 28, 2016 Report Share Posted July 28, 2016 So I finally found a retailer with the Madbull Daniel Defense MK18 rails in FDE, in stock and I ordered one!. I notice that on the retailers web site, it didn't state if they where RIS II, or not. It only mentioned RIS II when discussing the real steel counterpart in the description. Could anyone advise me if all of the Madbull Daniel Defense MK18, 9.5 rails in FDE are RIS II? This is for a MK18 Mod 1 build. Link to post Share on other sites

Bada Bing Posted July 31, 2016 Report Share Posted July 31, 2016 As I understand from users on AR15.com, the correct gas block for military issued Mk18's (MOD1's) is the Daniel Defense Mk12 low profile gas block. On mine I use a Vltor low profile gas block which doesn't look too different. Then again you only see the gas tube through the rail anyway so no one will ever know ;-) Link to post Share on other sites
