KJW Ruger Mk1 NBB Pistol Mods Part 2

I had wanted to add to the original thread I started "KJW Ruger Mk1 NBB Pistol Mods" but it is archived now..

So ... some time later... At the end of the original thread there was talk about fitting a better mag release to the Mk1 and I found some Real Steel ones on Brownells. Ordered a couple to try but the end result is they arent compatible. The magwell / release design on the KJW is significantly different to the real one and there is no way I can see of installing the real one on the airsoft replica sadly .

Still waiting for someone to bring out a GBB version with newer 1911 shaped frame and threaded barrel.

 

I know, it's never going to happen (sighs).
