The mediocre thread.

In general it's not a happy or sad topic just a general me thread.

To kick it off here's my thought.

Seeing as I got the DUI and I won't be driving (still need that stupid insurance)I'm going to work on a few things.

I'd like to finish my hsld field kit.

Thinking of selling the we mk14mod0 to finish my kit and some barrel upgrades for the ghk.

I have to finish the tw build and get some poly mag's to replace the metal mag's.

I need to find an affordable place with a garage so I can do my ultimate dream of building an scca car.

If I can't find a cheap enough place I will rent out a large storage unit I can work in.

I really need a second job for the winter but no driving means I can't do hardly anything and I refuse to walk in the snow.

See a very mediocre topic for things you want to do, your neither happy or sad but want to voice thoughts.

How's your blandness?

So you're upset you got caught drink driving and it's *fruitcage*ed up your plans. Tough *suitcase*. You're the one who decided to do something stupid so suck it up and accept the consequences. You'll get no sympathy from me

Well, this.

Not in a bottle or a glass. Its found in achievement and goals. Set a goal and achieve it. Small goals can lead to bigger things.

Cut out the booze/drinking, it's killing you. Seen a friend drink himself to death and you're triggering all the alarms.

Stop drinking. Not shouting, not ordering. But this is a fact. Want a better life, stop drinking.

I haven't drank in years, had 3 DUI since the age of 18, drank all the time, it's not great for the head and can cause serious depression! I wrecked relationships, lost friends and the respect of my peers. Give up drinking and lead a healthy life plus you will have more money for airsoft stuff!!

It's pretty much impossible for me to get drunk (requires such vast quantities) because of baclafen And I also have a *suitcase* life so 'give up drinking and everything will be lollipops and rainbows' doesn't work plus protip it makes you look a bit of an *albartroth* because it implies a certain sense of 'I'm better than you because I don't drink' regardless of that being your intent or not meaning being ascribed by the listener means what you intended to at doesn't actually matter.

And the idea of booze is awful don't do it and your life will be better generally says more about the person saying it than alcohol in general because it' can be read as an 'I can't be trusted to not allow booze to dominate my life'

Plus of course give up drinking isn't always as simple as just stopping for some drinkers stopping cold can actually kill them.

Giving up is very hard, but it's a goal in its self. Being happy requires disaplin and hard work, drinking all the time changes your out look and make achieveing things harder. A lot of people I know drink and enjoy it but for me it was making me make bad desions that got me in a load of trouble. Each to their own though, I don't look down on someone who drinks provided they can act like normal people whole doing so, I didn't.

As a side note, I drink. So the assumption that some people say give up drinking, as a means to say your life is instantly better doesn't apply. But there are people, who rely on drink, to make thier situation better, which is when you should stay away from drink.

If drinking leads to drink driving, then don't drink. Some people can drink and control how often, how much they drink. Though there are also people who drink to forget (which never ever works).

There is a lot more to it than these simple sentences I've written. But trying to keep things simple, when regarding health, is always the best course of action.

Most people who rely on a substance or other (in this instance drink) always seem to set unobtainable goals. Something that may not work or has a high rate of failure. It's always best to set small goals first, then build up to bigger goals.

As with all addictions it's a matter of not making excuses and sweat it out.

Almost everybody has it's addictions.

I think It'll help when somebody is near you and keeps you busy.

Thus bit by bit shows you life is more than what's happening to you now and does... somewhere, has alternatives.

They're just hard to find, most of the time.

You need to be a hard-*albatross* mothertrucker to deal with addiction yourself.

Just saying, a good many men are addicted to masturstation and pr0nagrafy., they just don't know it or write it off as OK.

Everybody has addictive shot to deal with. Sugar as well.

Ps. Yes, I used made up words that adults will get, because PG12 Forum.

I genuinely don't think I'm addicted to anything.  I just don't think my brain is wired like some people are.

I go months without drinking alcohol.

I don't smoke.

I really like the Internet but I can be away from it.

I really like cheese but again, no big deal.

I have multiple cups of tea with sugar a day but if I don't have any, I don't care.  Caffeine doesn't seem to do much to me.

Maybe if I seriously tried to cut out sugar, I would feel it.

In summary, I pretty much do what I want and don't let my body dictate to me.

Same. I can drop booze for weeks at a time if required, but also still go and get rather pickled when required.

Decided I was consuming too much sugar, so chopped that back to just about zero.

As said, I don't seem to have an addictive nature either :)

I wouldn't say I have an "addictive personality" so much as zero willpower. I've smoked weed more or less everyday for over five years now. When I drink I get really into drinking - I can have four drinks and call it quits but if I'm not careful I'll go mental with my contactless card. :fear2:

Have about four cups of coffee a day, a total zombie without it. Smoke about 20 ciggies a day too, I reckon.

Used to spank away at porn like a madman but I've managed to cut that out. TBH if I could have sex every day I wouldn't need to, but there we are!

Fortunately I don't really have a sweet tooth so all the bad *suitcase* I do is on the inside haha.

Also the internet is super addictive for me and I have a *suitcase* attention span, which doesn't help. I probably refresh arnies, facebook, twitter, news about once every five mins, no joke !!

true story: my worst "drug" story is me and my brother got into a fist fight (we are both in our twenties lol) at christmas over coffee. my mum went mental, poor woman

With all due respect, but you can't live on a artificial sugar diet in a western society. :)

You'll be going trough foodlabels worse than a vegan and still consume not mentioned sugars. Not to mention that if you manage you'll have no energy and a huge headache for a week.

It sucks man.
