Safeword
Just saw this on Arms-cool and thought it was a neat idea, maybe not the best when skirmishing but for collectors? Yeah why not Sharing it here so everyone can see, all credit goes to the original poster on arms-cool! NonEx
That's crazy Word of caution to anyone who has a working spring-action on their extractor, removing the BBU will make this spring come out and it is a PITA to get back in. Just an FYI. If your extractor does not spring back and forth when poked/pulled with the slide back then you have no spring in it so don't worry about it.
Got Wood?
The temptation to do this with all GBB nozzles is strong...
bankz5152
Thats actually really cool. On my phone, my spelling will suck
Wingmann
The temptation to do this with all GBB nozzles is strong... Barely any of them are bullet-looking like this one, but it could work for some of them.
renegadecow
AFAIK any pistol by VFC/Stark use the fake bullet thing. Problem is, if you use it with the return spring installed, it shoves the bullet rearward which looks really, really off.
blobface
I've done something similar in the past with my WE steel slide build to allow for mock press check.. but instead of painting it, I just removed some material and stuck a section of a brass tube to the nozzle, seemed to not have interfered with the actions. renegadecow
Now, THAT is *fruitcage* brilliant!
chas
Will the paint not shave off when the pistol is fired? Gotta admit I dont use mine. I use none of my expensive guns.
Katotaka
Don't think it will be much, if any, not so sure about exposing to oil and stuff, maybe few layers of clear coat would last a while longer. The painted part barely touches anything, except the tip which enters the chamber and the square rod pushing BB out of the mag, I would mask those parts out if I were to paint it, oh and don't forget to smooth out the flash. Cannonfodder80
Very nice. I saw this on Facebook and some of the comments about how it's going to get you shot by police were hilarious
bankz5152
I read that. I mean really. What happened to the world!? On my phone, my spelling will suck

icolater
Great idea the nozzle on some vfc guns replicate a bullet really well, well done vfc.
The Disavowed
That I said the same type of nozzle as in my vfc H&k vp9. I have not painted mine, but it is my favourite little detail. I know it isn't much, but I have wanted blowback units to look like this for a long time. Hopefully more manufacturers like we will start using them.
The Disavowed
I was just revisiting this idea, and does anyone know what the best paint colours would be to closest match a real bullet. Is there a ral colour or something and where would be the best place to purchase the paint from?
Ivan le Fou
I've done something similar in the past with my WE steel slide build to allow for mock press check.. but instead of painting it, I just removed some material and stuck a section of a brass tube to the nozzle, seemed to not have interfered with the actions. Wait... I don't get it. oO
