Anyone bought any of these recently?

Or, obviously, any of the same model in a different pattern/colour?  They make a version I'm interested in because literally nobody else is making it, but the sizing chart seems weird.

I'm a 32" waist which you'd think would be a medium (usually is with any other brand) but their chart seems to indicate I'd be a small; a concept I'm struggling with when it comes to a chinese-manufacture gear brand given they're all notorious for coming up smaller than they say.

They're cheap enough it wouldn't be the end of the world if I got the wrong size, but if anybody's bought this model recently or knows anyone who has, your experience would come in handy.

They're... alright. Bump up a size with these (IE: What they claim is a 32" is closer to a 30") and also be careful washing them - cold only and no detergent because they fade easily. Otherwise, the stitching is ok, they work and the price is pretty alright.

That's odd.  I have some older TMCs which are medium and they are 32" waist.  Maybe worth e-mailing EBB to double check.  They're usually quite helpful.

I'll give them a shout, I'd sort of assumed they'd not be of much help even in the unlikely event they did reply, truth be told.

'Alright' is about the best I was expecting realistically.  They'll just be a place holder until something better comes along.  You have a pair of the exact model?

If Emerson has done the same pattern, go for theirs. And before anyone says it they are not the same.

Have to agree with the emerson version. I have a set of their black AC cut trousers and for the price I am actually quite impressed.

Sadly TMC's my only option, but as I say, they'll probably do the job for the 1-2 games I maybe end up wearing them.

To be honest I'm mostly just filling up an empty hanger when I've decided these need to go and my collection OCD is just overpowering.

I know you probably did but I DO hope ordered a size larger than normal , just take deliver of a pair of AOR2 from Emerson supposedly a 34-36 . Quality of manufacture is really good but I'm a 34 and there tight on me (but luckily not uncomfortable) . I'll accept it from an Asian retailer but it's b****y annoying for me when UK retailers that are selling them are listing them with the same Asian size scale , no change or warning about the size difference even though they know there smaller than listed sizes .

Their chart size put me in a small, I went medium, which EB also echoed.  Fingers crossed.  If not.. not the end of the world.

I honestly wouldn't expect anything different from many UK retailers.  If you look at the ones that sell the more beginner-oriented kit, they're making less profit per item and making money on turning over bulk.  The warehouse floor workers aren't very likely to give a *suitcase*, they see what's on the label and put it on the site, or more likely the people running the site just copy + paste everything from EBA; that definitely happens a lot.  They've got too much quantity of product to process to be worrying about doing anything above and beyond the minimum.  Plus even if they did pull one of every size out the packets and run tape measures against them and make a custom size chart for each line of a certain item (really not going to happen), if it's ACM stuff you'll get some potentially big variances from manufacturer.  Hell Crye make mistakes, you just can't expect much when buying budget priced replicas from shops that carry such things.  It's only really the owners of most shops that are in to this game, there'll be plenty of people managing inventory, updating web stores etc who have literally no knowledge about gear or guns or airsoft and aren't interested in the slightest.

Don't get me wrong there will be exceptions, it is unfortunate and annoying and I apologise if that comes across as snobby, but I think that's just the reality we're in.

No offence taken , don't get me wrong not expecting them to 'quality' check every product but FFS ! even the HK sites warn 'Asian sizes are smaller than western sizes ' ! If I buy from a British seller (and were not exactly talking sports direct volume are we ?) then even a small hint of knowledge about what products your selling is not too much to ask ? im buying from a 'home' retailer so I think I should be able to expect the size Iisted to match the product as it is known problem ?

Any hoo back from a sever tangent have worn them most of the day and first impressions? Very good indeed ! Gave them a wash at normal washing temp (can't be arsed with hand cold washing) I know only the first but no colour loss noted at all .

Alas. Unfortunately EBA don't tend to keep proper stock levels on their website, they'll just take the money and refund you later if they don't have them in stock. Have you tried http://shootercbgear.com/ or https://shop.jkarmy.com/

EDIT: If you're specifically after the Grey pants, here's an alternative link or two:

Got those already xD

They sent me 2 pairs of the new iteration to try out and review (MC and Grey), had them here for 6-7 weeks or so now, but they don't quite fit Crye pads quite perfectly.  They're bloody close, but the opening in the pad pockets is just a couple of mm too short.  Might buy a set once they get the issue worked out but I'm on the fence right now with the stretch fabric being black.
