super64
I've just seen this doing the rounds on Facebook. I'm definitely saving up for one of these. http://www.umarex.com/products/iwa-news/airsoft/2.6384X.html Also comes in black, but the tan makes it that bit different.
Snoop-Uk
Just a warning some of these from the umarex brand are plastic gearbox Sent from my D2303 using Tapatalk
super64
This is a GBB mate, they've not announced if there's going to be an AEG version yet.
NonEx
Pretty cool. Was wondering when an updated HK416 would come in airsoft form Nothing for me personally but...
hitmanNo2
So is this what VFC was hinting at? Bit of a let down tbh.
super64
I'm also really interested in this, co2 MP40. http://www.umarex.com/products/iwa-news/airsoft/2.6390X.html
tquilha
That MP40 looks great. Only thing wrong is not making it GIM. Well, WE or KWA will get there eventually.
kagami
I'm super excited with this. Ambi bolt catch, proper RAL8000 and that slimline buttstock? yes please.
Pdubyuh
It is very nice but ill be getting the TM Delta custom also in or very close to RAL, the slim line buttstock is very nice I wonder if it has room for batts or if the gun is front wired?
akiraspeedstar
@Pdubyuh looks like a GBBR based on the bolt and magazine capacity.
super64
Yeah, it's a GBBR. I'd expect there will be an AEG version at some point, but at the moment it looks like they're only announcing the gas version.
Pdubyuh
@Pdubyuh looks like a GBBR based on the bolt and magazine capacity. (_8^(0)D'oh I didnt notice the details i was too focused on the shiny FDE lets hope then they do an AEG and it has space in the slim line stock for Batts!
rusTORK
Magazine Capacity: 24 shot(s) Um... what? Or it's "German" version? =) The MP German is powered by two 12-g CO2 cartridges and holds 4 BB's in its magazine. LOL, WHAT?! =) It's direct quote from their site!
TheFull9
Ah ffs.. the gun I want most and I've no mags or storage space to buy more. Fingered the HK at SHOT a fair bit, it's immense. I'd have sold half my liver if TM had done the A5 in their newest iteration, hell even if the ambi bolt release was just a dummy part.
calbur20
LOL@VFC GBBRs. Anything that company makes is a load of *suitcase*. Bad mags, bad design, bad construction. You're basically just buying wall hangers at that point.
super64
Unfortunately VFC's reputation isn't great and even though it doesn't say so on the Umarex site, I'm assuming this is being made by VFC just like the other H&K GBB rifles. If TM were making a version then it would really give Umarex/VFC something to think about. Fortunately for me though, my GBB rifles are just wall hangers, I rarely use them in games, so this will be a definite buy for me regardless of how it performs.
bladerunner168
The internet told me that since 2015, VFC have upped their GBB game a lot. I watched quite a lot of Nugent content on how he made the platform workable with minor upgrades and mods that even a ham-fisted tool like myself can accomplish. The major draw to a VFC/Umarex GBBR AR15 platform is their mags weigh less than 400g each and AST done a video where it proved to be quite gas efficient.
hitmanNo2
Sadly the voices of those burnt by older VFCs are louder than the guys with newer ones running great.
rusTORK
All weapons i have got from VFC (MP5 GBB, UMP45 GBB and MP7A1 GBB) have got problems one or another way (MP5 and UMP45 have got huge problems with loading muzzle and magazine seal o-rings). MP7A1 more stable for my opinion - magazine is good and no problems with loading muzzle. I think best of all i have from VFC was MP5K GBB. But i sold it shortly after i wrote a review. In general i am thinking that yes, VFC working on their weapons, but they should work harder.
blobface
Nugentgl managed to get GHK mags to work on VFC AR type guns too, not sure if he ever tested DH modded co2 mags on a VFC, but don't see why that wouldn't work in principle.
SDU_Phil
are these released? i remember seeing a bunch of german/european reviews back in may but i've yet to see them at any hk retailer?
Pdubyuh
Yes they are out, well they're available here in the UK at least
Bada Bing
We're lucky to get these first in the EU. You can expect the A5 to land in Asia and the rest of the world in the new year. For a VFC GBBR, its not bad.
