Gigueand
A shop called Weapons of Mass Instruction (WMI) opened in a nearby town in 2006. A buddy took me out there and they had a wall filled with Classic Army and G&G rifles. They had a G&G LR-300 and some G&G M14s on display that completely blew my mind. I knew I had to have an M14. At the end of the summer, my buddy and I played at the WMI field for the first time shooting CA M15A4 "Tactical Carbines." I remember being handed a rifle and asking, being used to older paintball guns, if I had to cock it. During one of our first games we had to carry a crate ("bomb") from one end of the field to another. We completed the objective without even firing our rifles just by being sneaky. That was the game that did it for me and I knew I had to get involved in the hobby. A few months later I purchased a CA G36K off of Arnie's from Blade3000, who hasn't been active since 2012. Snoop-Uk
Back in 2000 I was working in Leeds and basically got invited to got paintballing being quite militant I was worried I'd be a rubbish shot, a mate sold me a spring Marui mp5a3 which I got into plinking with, I did one hire game at airsoft commando near harrogate and got so hooked booked in for operation firefly (19/09/2000) where I went nuts and bought a m16 with 203 and a maruzen m1100 cs. Wish I had kept the shotgun. Sent from my D6603 using Tapatalk
Colin_The+Ferret
I started in the 1980's with the LS kits, then a few other brands. Started reading Gun Mart and bought my first shell ejecting springer from Combat Sports in Leeds. There was also a Cash Converters type place that used to sell second hand metal replicas on occasion. The Battle Orders catalogue was pure gun porn in those days. About 16 years ago I discovered "modern" airsoft on the internet and bought a TM Tac Master from Wolf Armoury for £250 or so to plink with. It was about a year later I got in to skirmishing. Corbeau
My high school buddy played with his brothers in the backyard using Walmart sprinters, which I never really knew about until we got together for his birthday one year and we all played. I was hooked from the beginning, eventually I started reading online and realized that airsoft as I play now exist. I'm pretty sure my love of AKs comes from the flea market AK47 they let me use that day.
