TheFull9
Broke a tang on an AEG lower recently, something rare of course and proving bloody difficult to replace. I'm going to have to install a boggo USGI type trigger guard on to one of my BCM AEGs soon and the lower literally can't be replaced so obviously I'm keen not to F it up, but the pot metal of AEGs is just so damn delicate and if the spring pin is remotely tight it scares the heck out of me tapping it in. Anyone got any tool (outside the usual support it with a block of something) or part recommendations in the trigger guard realm?
mimesis
I presume something like one of these would provide the best support. Other than that, just the right size roll pin punch. Can't think of anything else.
CaptCalvin
If you're just installing it a pair of adjustable pliers will do the job adequately. Put some plastic in between the pliers and the ears to prevent marring them up.
