evilrobotshane
I have three mags for my trusty slingbacker that have been sitting unloved in a bag for like six years, shame on me. I dug them out last week to get back into airsoft and they all leaked out the top. I removed the top valves (where the hammer hits, not sure what we're calling them), eyeballed the o-rings and found them to seem okay, brushed off any little specks of debris, and gave them a decent silicone greasing. Now two of the mags are as good as new, and one is still leaking exactly as if I'd never touched it. The leak isn't coming out from where the valve screws into place, but rather from the top hole where gas gets ejected to make power happen (yeah, I'm clearly not up on terminology). Any suggestions on further things to look for please?
renegadecow
Carefully take the middle o-ring off, clean it then flip it around before putting back on. Does the trick 99% of the time unless it really has a visible nick on it.
