NonEx
So a few days ago I randomly saw a post somewhere that Cybergun had announced a "new" licensed Glock supposedly made by Inokatsu, which I found a bit odd considering they previously had the MIL/LEO only licensed Glocks OEMd by VFC/Stark Arms. So after looking at the pictures and a couple of press releases and news postings about it, it would appear that these are not actually made by Inokatsu, but rather said to be "of such high quality that it deserved to be branded as an Inokatsu product" (paraphrase)... Fu me those Cyberscum people are something else, eh? It seems like it might be a slightly evolved version of the SA/VFC Glock but I doubt there is much too it. Fugly "Licensed by" branding as always, laser engraved serial number marking, aaaand, the kicker is, they will only be available for sale in France. Not like anyone really cares I guess. jal3
I wonder if they actually have licensing to sell this, or if their licensing agreement only extends to their MIL/LEO idea.
NonEx
I think this is a new agreement with Glock to sell these to end-users in France that is an addon to the MIL/LEO agreement.
hitmanNo2
Oh dear. I appear to have hit my monthly limit of *fruitcage*s to give. Nice try cyberscum. *fruitcage* off. What is up with that screw on the mag plate? That's not on SA/VFC Glocks is it? Looks like an Ino? Ha. Yeah. Sure.
Wingman
I love the "Limited Edition" laser marking beneath the Glock engraving on the slide. Wonder what operating system they are using? I cannot imagine it being TM/KJW/WE comparable. Probably the same as their M&P's.
NonEx
hitman: Yeah I noticed that screw on the magazine as well. Strange. Actually. Might be something they added on after Glock MLE/LEO trial with the original SA/VFC Glocks, possibly because the magazine floor plate popped off when they dropped the mags during reload? So it's there to secure the floor plate? Just a theory. Wingman: 99.9% sure it's Stark Arms/VFC OEM pistol. Cybergun owns Inokatsu (brand) and they stated flat out as a response to one of the Facebook comments that they just put it under the Inokatsu brand because it is a "high end/quality product"... Kind funny how the pistol looks like *suitcase* in the photos. And you know, usually when you do promo photos you try very hard to make the product look good By the way the prices on the French sites is €350 EUR ($410 USD / £320 GBP) for the limited / special edition version and €250 EUR ($ 295USD / £230 GBP) for the standard one. Basically for a licensed Stark Arms / Storm Airsoft / VFC Glock 17 that is sold for $110 USD in Asia (not licensed obviously.
hitmanNo2
Haha. They're complete nutters. They really have no idea do they. 'So we've got this Dacia. We tried our very hardest and we think it's pretty decent so we're going to glue some Ferrari badges on it'
renegadecow
VFC probably tried googling "cybergun" for the first time, came to the realization how their name will be dragged into the mud so insisted another name be put on them instead.
Katotaka
Would consider to give a fruitcage . . IF they managed to replicate striker fire mechanism's trigger feel
blobface
Full steel Gen 4 MOS with flush base CO2 mags.... might get someone's money under the Cybergun brand, this pos however... dafuq?
ED-SKaR
"Hey guys we have the licence to put the real 'glock' logos and stuff on this gat to make it look as close to the real one as possible, and we're gonna make sure they go on just right. Right next to our fake logos that the real one doesn't have" "Also we're raking on money for owning some bits of paper that say we can"
jal3
What a pants on head retarded thing to state in public. Inokatsu trademark in France seems to be owned by "Microtrade". Anyone heard of them before? But i wonder what Inokatsu think regardless...
renegadecow
As much as that statement made my week (despite also having a severe bout with the flu), plenty enough people will only read "official Glock" and happily spend €350.
AG1212
I felt terrible paying 200 euro for the FNX 45, but at least that had full trades and no licencing garbage (well the first one's didn't have the marking in ejection port). I'd be very, very surprised if anyone bothers buying these, it'll will probably flop. You could get a WE Glock, buy a gaurder frame, barrel and slide and it will still be cheaper. Hell, still be cheaper to do the same with a TM.

According to bloomberg https://www.bloomberg.com/research/stocks/private/snapshot.asp?privcapId=83150356 Microtrade, its based in Luxembourg 3 Rue des Foyers Luxembourg, 1537 this in a residential zone, only needed a mailbox? What I get so far is Microtrade is a subsidiary of "Cybergun SA". But "Cybergun International SA" is a subsidiary of Microtrade? at least according to bloomberg. And by the way Cybergun owns Inokatsu, yes pretty sure those people are full of regret now.

Zereck
VFC probably tried googling "cybergun" for the first time, came to the realization how their name will be dragged into the mud so insisted another name be put on them instead. What is with the connection between them anyway? If you go to VFC's site they list their Umarex licensed products just fine but none of their Cybergun licensed ones(FNX, M&P, FNS, SCAR-H) and they never seem to acknowledge it. No self respecting manufacturer will accept orders for a flawed product, but they will make mediocre things for anyone who can spot the bill. Being the OEM I don't think they're obliged to put their own mark and to maintain plausible deniability should the product fail due to Cybergun's bad rep.

lee stephenson
They do have to have at least half a point for putting the license mark inside the slide. They can tick the "have we told people we have the license for this" box, without ruining the looks quite as much!
