renegadecow
It's finally on pre-order and a lot cheaper than what most were anticipating at $611.50. Spring action, I'm guessing S&T OEM. http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airsoft/Sniper_Rifles_RWA_RWA_Lee_Enfield_No_4.htm check out the fantastic fit and finish
TheFull9
I really, really hate to be that guy because on the one hand I'm extremely pleased to see this coming to market, but on the other now that I've seen that excuse for a butt plate I just cannot help but wonder what else they might've done a *suitcase* job on. A 600+ price tag surely should be enough to get you a pretty high quality spring powered rifle? Do S&T make stuff in tiny batches?
Spudgun
Ordinarily, I'd buy an original butt plate and fit it. However. At the price being asked: Butt plate fail = rifle fail. I'll wait for the cheaper clone.
Horsem4n
If it is S&T, 6 hundo is way too much.
renegadecow
So not an S&T. According to Redwolf's FB it's by Viva Arms.
jv83
Good lord that buttplate looks so comfy.
Dimitri MdP
So not an S&T. According to Redwolf's FB it's by Viva Arms. and WTF is Viva Arms??
harborne blue
That's an absolute monstrosity. The left side of the receiver is wrong, the stock shape is wrong and what's with the massive gap behind the front sight? Did they actually look at a no. 4 before they made it? $600 plus shipping plus tax? No chance.
renegadecow
Price dropped to $569, if that helps.
renegadecow
and WTF is Viva Arms??They're the guys that made their M1919 and MG34.
Gunmane
Someday we will get tm vsr quality in the bolt actions we all love, but not today.
druid799
They steady there breathing , they take carful aim , they shoot ! AND completely miss the *frootcagio* target ! Nice one redwolf , you could have had a golden goose , but instead you got a dead duck !
harborne blue
Literally no one is going to buy one at that price: you can get a Shoot N Scoot one for less than $600 and they use a load of real steel parts in theirs. Waste. Of. Time. Redwolf.
Cesare
Anyone ever shot the Iron Airsoft Gas Version Enfield?
harborne blue
Anyone ever shot the Iron Airsoft Gas Version Enfield? My mate has one. Lovely to look at and nice to shoot as the bolt works like the real steel. Leaks like crazy though, low FPS... Not really skirmish-able.
BigAl
Why is everyone blaming Redwolf, its made by Viva Arms surely its there fault not the retailers? lol
renegadecow
Redwolf worked closely with them under their in-house brand RWA. They kept posting on social media about how delays were due to making sure they made the most accurate No.4 possible to satisfy customers. This went on for over a year and this is the best they can come up with.
Colin_The+Ferret
That shiny bolt is heretical as well.
