Suggestions for Tactical Sights on G19 Pistol Using Garder Slide

This year I scratch built two G19 pistols using Garder parts. One steel slide and the other aluminium.

I'm considering building another aluminium slide but want to add a more tactical look. This will be using a standard aluminium G19 slide as apposed to one that allows an RMR.

There are so many different types out there and I'd like some suggestion from those who have applied such "fixed" style sights.

My plan is to also add a threaded barrel w/thread protector at some point, so high profile is probably best (even though I have no idea how often I'd be applying a suppressor. Thats if I can ever find a G19 barrel in such a configuration (help in this area would also be appreciated)!

Is this one of those new Guarder slide that can take RS sights? Or just normal airsoft ones? I think GM makes suppressor height Trijicon replica night sight(with tritium).

I also kinda want to find a threaded barrel for G19 but I haven't found a steel one...

I saw that these were recently released that look pretty cool: https://wgcshop.com/products?search_From=searchItem&item=northeast-hd-dx-night-sight-for-tm-we-g-series

The Ace 1 Arms Warren style sights are also nice: http://www.ace1arms.com/goods.php?id=278

As for supressor hight sights, I have Ace 1 Arms Trijicon tritium supressor height sights on my WE/A1A SAI build. They are really nice, steel, real tritium, full markings: http://www.ace1arms.com/goods.php?id=323

Those are G18 style sights (different BBU style), but work in the A1A builds because their G19 BBU is G18 styled.

Can't recall seeing any other style supressor height sights out there... :|

And threaded outer barrels for Glock 19s, Ace 1 Arms are the only ones who make/made them but they are pretty much impossible to find anymore. I tried asking A1A to release these separately on their webshop, or if they could sell me one separately and thay said nope.

I managed to grab one from eHobbyAsia when they sold them separately a while back and put in my build.

The other option is to get a Glock 19 outer barrel with inner threads and put an adapter on it. Which I had at first, but I think looks/feels kinda meh. But turns out the A1A barrel front and a standard barrel with an adapter almost look identical :P

Here's an overview of my latest update on my Glock 19 Ace 1 Arms SAI RMR build with the supressor height sights and threaded outer barrel:

Think I'm going to try out those Northeast HD DX Night Sights.

Guess I'll keep waiting for the threaded barrel.

I noticed in your video that your guide rod moves around a bit (like mine). I know on the KJW guide rod there is a nice little tab that fits into the face of the hop-up chamber that keeps that from happening. Have you worked out any any fix when using the Guarder guide rod?

Cool! Let me know how you like them as I was thinking about getting a set as well :D

But just to be clear those are NOT suppressor height sights.

Waiting for the Ace 1 Arms threaded barrel to come back in stock? Not going to happen I'm afraid. Those were part of their AGC slide sets which are long since out of production and out of stock after RWA got the official Agency license.

I asked both Ace 1 Arms and RA Tech to make separate threaded outer barrels for Glock 19s and they both said no. I don't understand why. There's like a dozen choices for threaded barrels for the 17/18 series and none for the Glock 19s :(

We talking about my steel Glock 19 or the video above?

Don't recall it happening or being an issue on the SAI build.

But on the steel G19, yes, it does happen, and it is annoying, and a problem. Because when the guide rod gets pushed around enough (like 5-10 slide cycles) it will end up being tilted downwards at the front enough to impede slide movement.

I had a look at it and it seems the front edge of the outer barrel chamber is protruding farther fowards the front than the front face of the actual hop up housing which pushes it out of alignment. I think that if you sand down the edge on the barrel chamber it will help but I need to take a closer look.

I just think they went for RS design with no tab which I kind of like but not when it affects functionality.

Thinking I might go back to the KJW guide rod and hop-up chamber for now. I had already put a new hop-up rubber in it and it was shooting well enough.

As this is a regular shooter for me, the reliability is what I need to rely on the most. Just plain annoying to look at.

I also bought some of the "custom KJW G19/23 magazines". Like the markings and shell counting holes. Have not tried them yet.

As for the threaded barrel, maybe Guarder will notice "market opportunity" and make there own. Guess we can only hope.

Thanks for the input.
