Wooly_Booly
I went to check if Wii Tech had anything new today, only to find their website is down along with their Facebook page which seems to have been deactivated. Within the past week I saw someone on Facebook got in contact with them, and they mentioned they were looking to make another batch of nozzles for one of the TM shotguns, so this must have just come up.http://www.wiitech.com.hk https://www.facebook.com/wiitechhk Anyone have some insider info? NonEx
Damn, that sucks. I really liked them and their products :(
Isamu
hope they didn't, they made nice quality stuff for somewhat obscure or not mainstream platforms. INSIDER, we summon thee!
mrsevenstars
Dang, i hope not. I meant to buy their ksg nozzle but kept putting it off. Pretty dumbass move on my part.
Bada Bing
I hope they haven’t shut down. They had excellent quality I heard rumours they were looking into producing M16A1 and M16A2 receiver sets for the Tokyo Marui M4 GBBR platform. 😞
Katotaka
AFAIK Wii Tech is house brand of HH Airsoft (local store in HK) and the store is still here
hitmanNo2
Middle of a re-brand perhaps?

No clue. I know Enten just stocked their MWS receivers, so I shot them a message asking if they knew anything but I haven't gotten a response yet.

AFAIK it was the parent company split up in two, online presence of Uncompany remains operational but the brick & mortar store became HH Airsoft

I was actually looking for wii tech stuff at the time, but HH was out of stock of the parts I wanted..
Wooly_Booly
Good news! I sent them an email a few days ago and just got this response: Dear Sir, Please be informed that our website is down at this moment because of virus. Some data are lost, and our web hosting is repairing the website now. Our website should be in service again very soon. At this moment, you can make an order or contact us by e-mail. Thanks and regards, Wii Tech Website:www.wiitech.com.hk Enquiry:sales@wiitech.com.hk Facebook:https://www.facebook.com/wiitechhk WhatsApp: (852)9012 2836
blobface
Ha, was just about to post my email response I got from them, full copy and paste, clearly a few of us have done the same thing
sirrith
I whatsapped them a few days ago and they never replied. Also, when I asked UNcompany about stock status for an MP9 nozzle set, they told me they "will not restock soon". Hopefully the email information is correct.
hitmanNo2
I don't get why that has an impact on their FB. That's the beauty of FB, being able to have an online presence even if your site goes down.
Wooly_Booly
Maybe they didn't want customers trying to reach their website from links on their page? It's a little odd, but I'd wager it'll be back as soon as the site is.
hitmanNo2
A simple heads up of 'Website down. Back soonish' would have been pretty helpful.
sandstorm
Could be FB was a vector in or out for the virus.
DarkLite
Tis a *suitcase*, WiiTech were the only people who did short-stroked gearsets for the TM NGRS line and I was wanting to do a high RoF AKSU recoil build. Damn.
sirrith
Well they finally replied to my whatsapp, basically said the same thing about the virus, but also said that the reason they would not be restocking certain items was because they are looking at making new parts.
