Horse84
Hi I bought a night evolution dual pressure switch. It fits my element m600 replica perfect but I’m running a g&p dbal and the jack for that is not compatible. Is there some sort of adaptor I could purchase or alternatively a different dual pressure switch that fits both? any help appreciated
johny_blaze
As far as I know - no there isn't. A teammate just cut and soldered the jack from the original dbal pressure switch. I just run a pressure switch for my light and activate the dbal via the button on top.Sent from my ANE-LX1 using Tapatalk
Horse84
Pity that as that night evolution switch is very handy
Katotaka
I believe it activates via shorting a 2.5mm phone connector of some sort, AKA TRS plug, so cutting and soldering is probably the best bet.
PureSilver
I have the reverse problem - a real SureFire pressure switch (ITI plug) and a G&G CVL (2.5mm jack). I'm not cutting the plug off a $125 pressure switch, so some kind of socket-adapter-pigtail is going to have to be made. ☹️

You can get bare jack plugs and sockets on ebay. I'm planning something similar so I can play an mp3 player through the Mic port of a radio... because reasons.

The plug is easy enough - it's the socket. I think the Insight socket is proprietary.
