Wingman
Does anyone make a metal TM compatible 1911/MEU style frame with a rail? All I need is the frame as I have everything else. Thanks for the help.
Wingmann
Nova, most likely. Ready your wallet. Tanio Koba has a plastic one for sure. A full Army R28 would cost you about the same as the Koba, and you can use the frame only...
Wingman
I was just looking at a ASG STI "MEU" style pistol (OEM is KJW) for about $80.00 new. Frame has zero markings, which I'm also looking for. I've had good luck with the one I have now, but it's a "well worn veteran" of many years and want to keep it that way. Going to use the new frame with the parts and add a Guarder 4.3 OPS slide and barrel group as well as a magwell (not planning on using CO2 in this one so hopefully no fitting issues. I have a nice pair of KWC Colt Rail Gun grips that look like the M45A1 grips and maybe they will fit as the ASG STI grips are set up to take CO2 magazines and the KWC grips are molded for CO2 magazine use in their pistols. If not, guess I'll just see about dremeling the STI markings on the grip medallians to a flat surface. Last project for this year. I did try to find a R28 but the only place that I could find in the USA that carries them are out of them until January.
Wingmann
You can always try to import from China. Tiger111 and others use to have the whole inventory.
