Corkie121
Hoping someone will have some experience here: if I was aiming to run a KJW 1911 in the UK on green gas, would these extended magazines cure the gas capacity issues faced by all metal 1911's? For those who are not sure which mags I mean, AA released their new R28 etc with 30 round mags that have an extended gas tank. Thanks for any help! Corkie
Got Wood?
It solves the problem in the Marui’s, so don’t see why it wouldn’t do the same for KJW. The problem with all 1911’s is the gas-slide ratio
Corkie121
Thanks for the input, so even with a metal slide, if I short load the mags to 20-25 rounds the extended mags should reliably run on green? Cheers
Got Wood?
Should be fine. I never fill my mags with the total number of rounds, I personally prefer to load real numbers and then be sure it will lock back every time
Corkie121
Unless anyone else has anything to add to the contrary then, case closed! Thanks for your help. Corkie
