Mazuran
UK based, looking into getting a GBBR set up, not sure which propellant is going to be best... I'll be airsofting all year round, in all sorts of temperatures. So what have people found works best for them? GG/Propane/MAPP? CO2?
Got Wood?
I’d advise against the filling from calor tanks propane route. Having spent a couple of years doing it, it just ruins all seals it touches over time, even if you add silicone oil to it. I now use nuprol green gas, and black gas in certain guns over the winter months, but that’s only in metal slide, harder than stock nozzle pistols
Bada Bing
My chosen fuel is Propane. I've been refilling my small Coleman propane cans from a large tank for almost 2 years and it's been wonderful. If you use GBB's as much as I do, it is incredibly cost effective and Airsoft gas is quite expensive considering how little you get in a tin. The performance runs at a comfortable level throughout the year and it's output is comparable to the stronger green gases on the market. If I intend to play on the darkest days of winter I might pick up a can of Guarder Power Up gas just in case, but propane generally sees me through. I wish I did it years and years ago. All that wasted money.
Lone_Bullet
Best gas? Co2 and Hpa.Inert and safe, easy to use, cheap in use.Hpa has initial cost and a line whilst co2 smells weird and has cooldown. Co2 is also less consistent. But both can deliver reliable dakka dakka year round.Sent from my H8324 using Tapatalk
