gbb pistol question

Hello, My gbb pistol is coming in Friday and I got my spare magazine for it in the mail today. It is a magazine for the g&g xtreme 45 and the co2 slides into the magazine. Upon inspection of the magazine, it looks like there is no o-ring where the co2 tip goes into the magazine.

The area of the co2 chamber (where the hole is to be punched into the co2 cartrige) does protrude out a tiny bit, larger than the hole is to be punched. I am just wondering, is this supposed to replace the o-ring? Is something missing? The magazine is in excellent quality, I just don't know if o-rings go in co2 magazines, as this is my first co2 pistol.
