Pydracor
So I thought I'd just start a renewal of the WWII guns picture thread - I clicked through the profiles of several moderators to ask if I am permitted to do this, and somehow all of them haven't been in the forum for about 1 to 10 years 😅 If it's not ok to start this thread, please just delete or lock it! Thought it would be nice to have this theme active again, there are loads of very nice WWII-themed airsoftguns out there :) Here we go with two from my collection, that I really like: Tanaka Arisaka Type44 Cavalry with folding bayonet:  G&G M1903A3 converted to an A4 USMC sniperrifle with a real WWII C-stock, reproduction Unertl scope from Lux and many realsteel small-parts like rear sight, front collar etc.
sandstorm
Sweet looking rifles... And as far as I know, it's okay to start threads, especially if the old ones are archived. Hmm, I do have couple guns that ought to get their glamour shots...  Edited November 14, 2020 by sandstorm
PureSilver
That 1903 is a thing of sheer beauty. What's the G&G like to shoot?
vietnammarine
You are absolutely right with the need of new WW2 guns picture thread and both of yours are amazing kivk offs. Giving me an idea for my own 1903 conversion And let me share some of mine WW2 / Korea toys...2 of 3 8mm Marushin Garands (3rd will be - one day, a donor for my BM59 built)- one Garand is regular for my Marine Recon impression.- 2nd Garand will become M1DCarbines are 6mm King Arms and 8mm Marushin.Inokatsu M1911AWE M1A1 with USGI wood set.S&W Beretta M1938Hudson and S&W M3A1Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Pydracor
Very nice collection @vietnammarine! Cool old and rare guns among them, the Marushin Garands, the Hudson Grease gun, awesome! Out of curiosity: Why have you sold the NE Sten already? @renegadecow: That is rad! Is that a custom build? Never seen a Type 11 airsoft before... And to keep up the pace with pics for this thread: Asahi MG34 with anti aircraft sight (once again: deactivated due to german law)

Mike_West
How are the ergonomics on the Type 11? I always thought it was awkward after getting it in Battlefield V.
renegadecow
It seems clumsy but really it shoulders like a normal rifle. What sucks is the hopper and oiler blocking half your vision. Bipod legs also too tall like a Chauchat on flat ground, but it wasn't really designed for that anyway.
renegadecow
Might as well throw this in
vietnammarine
Out of curiosity: Why have you sold the NE Sten already? It was a beautiful piece, shooting quite well, but overall useless for my collection and more importantly I was in a quick need of money for our dogs operation...the most expensive toys ... of my wife, thus mine :-D  Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Pydracor
Let's go on with this thread here, too One of the very few non-airsoft modelguns in the collection: Shoei FG42 late version. If you ever get the opportunity to get your hands on one of these, take it! They re superbly built and incredibly nice collector's pieces. Had 2 of them for a while, the one without scope is sold by now. The one with scope has a very rare real ZF4 with even rarer, highly professionally reproduced Krieghoff mount rings made of steel.

wolfgeorge
Amazing!!!! Love the FG42! Is this the model gun or does it shoot bbs? Wolf

Wolf Unfortunately it is "just" a modelgun, Shoei have released only their MP44, MG42 and G43 models with Escort internals. There has never been a FG42 airsoftgun, not even among Classics, where you sometimes find models noone today knew that they exist in the airsoft world (like AR18, Bushmaster, Jericho e.g.). S&T announced that they're plannung to build a FG42 GBB, which would be awesome... if only it wasn't S&T... However, Shoei's FG42 modelgun is so much fun to handle. You can manually cycle dummy rounds and they have even copied the realdeal's system: Open bolt on fullauto, closed bolt on semi. Can send a video if you're interested

Pydracor
Are these the 40mm grenade versions of the Panzerfaust? Looking good, just a few type-os in the german lettering
renegadecow
Essentially spud guns, 3x the payload of usual moscarts at zero cost with used bbs and a bike pump. Â 2
Mike_West
I'll add mine: the new S&T Kar98k with a scope mount and a repro ZF39 scope. Of course windage on the ZF39 is adjusted by monkeying with two screws on the back of the mount, both of which have square heads and, infuriatingly, no key included with the mount. Throwing the lever on the mount backwards and holding the latch on top allows you to slide the scope off, and the mount comes with a RIS rail that replaces the scope clamps.
Pydracor
Recently aquired, can't remember when I saw one of these offered for sale the last time - so it makes me pretty happy, that I finally got one I live in Germany, thus the "cut out" nono-symbols
