svman
Gbb psg1 could be fun
wildething
god i need this but VFC here's hoping it's not a disappointment
Brigg
Really surprising that WE didnt have one of these ready to go when they released the g3. But unfortunately, as much as i want a psg1, I will never buy a gbb from vfc again after the mp5 that didnt work and could not be fixed for any reason. Just say no to VFC gbbs. renegadecow
The fact VFC still insists on proprietary gasket seals for mags is a no for me.
vietnammarine
I also didn't want to have anything with VFC's gbb after my painful MP7 experience. But got their G3 and UMP, which are in my opinion some of the very few best gbbs out of the box. Just take out and shoot, shoot, shoot... I was really amazed and pleasantly surprised.I will not get PSG, but FAL Delux for sure.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Gunmane
Meanwhile I just yearn for VFC to go back to the ak line again. I'll give it a few months before WE drops their take.
wolfgeorge
It won't be that good I know .. But a GBB PSG-1 was on my list for years .. Plus it mostlikely be my last gun in the collection I'll definitely buy one! Wolf
Dimitri MdP
Guys I'm no VFC fan either, having dealt with their always-failing guns for more than a decade. I can see why they are known as Very Frustrating Company. But truth be told, they really stepped up their GBB game in the last couple of years. Their G3 is a solid performer, and I wouldn't expect anything less from the PSG-1, which most likely shares all working parts with.
Wingmann
I'm more interested in the super light Mk48, really.
Gunmane
Yeah, I wonder if its a deal with cyberscum like the featherweight or if it just vfc trying to case in on the popularity of it, if it indeed a "light" version.
aznriptide859
Here's to hoping they just sell that scope rubber on the back because my PSG1 never came with one lol.
Gunnman
It'll be really good, but few will be made. Just watch.

svman
ETA February, $779 and thats before import duty, shipping and customs handling fees. Ouch https://www.switairsoft.com/product-page/umarex-vfc-psg-1-gbb-sniper-airsoft-rifle
wildething
No scope or 5 round mag disappointing at that price
svman
It's certainly more expensive than I was expecting/ hoping.
Dimitri MdP
considering their regular G3A3 is $450 and all the custom things they must develop for a (probably) very small batch, $780 sounds fair. Still I wish it was somewhat cheaper, that's some serious money for an airsoft gun.
Gunnman
$780 seem really fair to me. That's close to what the TM cost (with inflation) when it came out new in the 90's.
howitzer
Price is better than I expected. Will give them credit for releasing a PSG-1 bipod too.
Swattiger
Sadly our Taiwan airsoft friends found several broken parts of this very expensive airsoft gun after brief use: http://www.arms-cool.net/viewtopic.php?f=60&t=1209. It looks like VFC has a bad habit of launching products that are not thoroughly tested and use their customers' experience AND money for later improvements.
