The Crye Precision GEN3 Battle Dress Uniform
Is probably one of the most used BDU's these days amongst SOF units, about the remarkable history of Crye, and their BDU's there is a lot to tell, check out my Crye BDU guide here, if you wanna read more about it

BDU1.thumb.jpg.16e7d468e709fc623ccf06b5d97a8cdf.jpgBDU2.thumb.jpg.a8d530ffeb270685e939c8672ea38510.jpg

This makes the Crye G3 a must for Milsim/Reenactment/Impressionists
It is not surprising that the Crye G3 is also very popular for Airsoft loadouts, given the great “tacticool” factor, and the “build for combat” design.
However ... an original Crye G3 set quickly costs 400 to 500 $, real Die Hard reenactors often look for used Crye's on Ebay for example, but for those who may want it a bit less authentic, there are also replica Crye BDUs, the best-known manufacturers of these are most likely Emerson, and TMC.
TMC is currently pretty popular, but at Weapon762, which mainly sell TMC stuff, the current TMC items are almost continuously out of stock!

After waiting patiently at Weapon762 for some months.
I discovered this Uniontac GEN3 BDU on AliExpress, at that time the only one after Emerson and TMC with a G3 BDU AFAIK , after some chatting with the shop owner, (which btw is very approachable)
I finally ordered a set for 68 € inc. shipping, a saving of € 52 compared to Weapon762! Btw

For the size I based myself on the size chart on the Uniontac shop, which matched quite good as expected.
In my opinion , this Uniontac BDU is quite okay, it is pretty accurately copied from the original Crye, with the exception of the tan stretchzones instead of MC, and the Padded Waistbelt, it further has all the features of the original.

To determine if the Multicam is accurate yes or no, can only be checked by placing it next to a real Multicam, but since Multicam is patented by Crye, and only available in the US, I assume that this is a CN Multicam, and most likely will show some difference compared to the original, personally I can only say that it just looks good.
Is the quality the same as TMC? I can't answer this because I don't own (yet) a TMC BDU, maybe TMC owners among you can deduce a few things from the photos?

My Uniontac has already been subjected to a “fire baptism”, during it has been totally unaffected (running, crawling, climbing, sanding, sweating, etc ...) and has endured this without damage.
After this you can first view my detailed photo report, and then I also made a comparison photo album between the original Crye and the Uniontac

The Sizing
Never an easy task right, especially with Chinese Size Chart's
When ordering my UNIONTAC G3 i used, and relied on the size chart of the respective webshop
According to the measurements of our "wannabee operator" ( 1,68 M / 72 kg) whe came out to a SIZE S
