I used to watch Battle of the Planets a long time ago. No idea how I remember this as it's been about 13 years. I remembered it being called G-Force (Which I know is the group of 5 kids the show is about..).

Anyone remember that?

How about the Banana Split gang. Atom Ant? I remember this being called superfriends.

Actually, your memory is right. The cartoon was originally Japanese, and was bought by two different companies. They dubbed it differently, resulting in two versions of the same thing. One of them (think it was Battle of the Planets) introduced the robot 7-Zark-7, who wasn't in the original. His role was to fill in the gaps when something judged too violent had been cut. Hence why he rarely seems to actually contribute to the story.

The Japanese original ran for a further two seasons, and was a lot darker than the Western translations. One character (Jason, in one of them, dressed in dark blue) died at the end of Season 1, only to return as a cyborg. A quick google search should bring up some sites about the cartoon and the storylines.

Whew, done. Anything else people want to know about '80s cartoons? :D

Anyone remember "Get Fresh!" or more importantly their flagship cartoon?

The Centurions is as close as I can get to the title, three guys, special "lego" suits...

Blonde haired bloke, his suit was grey and blue and all of his "add-ons" were aircraft (including the "Orbital Interceptor");

Black guy, his suit was black and green and all of his "add-ons" were water oriented;

Dark haired guy, his suit was black and yellow and two of his suits were land based weapons platforms while his third was a helicopter.

Yep, Centurions. All the weapons systems were stored in an orbiting satellite called "Sky Vault," staffed by a woman, Crystal Lake, and her pet monkey. The systems could be selected and beamed down with the phrase "Power Extreme!" With an echo effect, if I recall. Max Ray was the naval expert, Ace McCloud the pilot and Jake Rockwell the land specialist. Jake had a pet dog fitted with a rocket launcher B) . Haven't got any episodes, but that was a pretty good cartoon.

Right, anything else? :D
