back it up and reload the OS.

Ive got a couple of important exams next week, it works just enough to do what i require of it, after the exams, its bye bye Vista, hello Windows 7... Ive already got W7, just need the time to backup meticulously, dont wanna leave anything behind.

Sat down with GeekTools and some applescripts today and changed my OSX appearance a little....

Image is of one of the christmas Island tests, someone uploaded some large images I can link them if anyone wants.

How did you get your menu bar to mimic background color, when I set mine to transparent I always just got light grey (non-transparent) or faded grey (transparent) no matter what background image I had, I eventually just went in and changed it all to black in the system library....

System Preferences- Desktop & Screen Saver- Translucent Menu Bar.

 

Not under "Appearance"

 

Worked for me.
