I've got a question for those who may know. Recently at games I have noticed my CA249 Para has its rof vary a little during long bursts. I was curious if this is common? is it bad for my internals? any insight would be most appreciated

is not common, my & my firends ROF is constant.

as long as it a slow down in ROF is not bad for mechanical parts, maybe the motor will suffer a little, infact a power shortage from the battery is not very healthy for it in general.

I would check the battery first.

If I am wrong pls correct me.

I noticed the same thing with my Mk 2 last week, with long (5 secs+) bursts the ROF drops slightly. I assume it's electrical/heat related, but I'm not up on the electrical know-wots to give a proper answer.

Its most likely your battery. You guys have to remember that batteries do NOT have linear discharge rates. You generally dont notice this on regular AEG's but when you're doing longer bursts on a support weapon this phenomenon becomes readily apparent.
