Jagdraben
<img snip> on a type 89, it doesn't look that great <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Actually, the 512/552/AA-powered-ones look good on the Type 89, IMHO. They take up the whole damned 20mm rail and they aren't as awkwardly high as they are on the M14.
mrblah
yeah i was thinking that too, the aa models would look a bit more proportional.
hendrix
its an eye problem. I can see the reticle of my eotech perfect through my glasses. however if i take them off its looks like a jumbled red blob. get your eyes checked, i am near sided. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> its wierd, with me left eye its crystal clear but with my right its fuzzy. While wearing shooting glasses its fine in both eyes.
No Mercy
I sold my eotech because of my eye problem, i have 20/20 but a Astigmatism (sp?) And It was blurry as ###### and gave me a headache But i can see my acog fine
STUNTMAN
Well, it's not an Eo-tech, but the Airsoft Hurricane replica: For Airsoft and for a replica, it's very good. It's better to have a replica in airsoft games, that the real and expensive one broken by a BB on the AEG. STUNTMAN Edited January 1, 2007 by STUNTMAN
Architect
Although i think if you have a real one and the lens breaks, then you get it replaced for free
STUNTMAN
Although i think if you have a real one and the lens breaks, then you get it replaced for free <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Maybe, but and if they say that... "sorry it's was during a game, not the real thing, so, no replace!". I give the example of ESS Googles... they say that not suitable for Airsoft... and they don't replace or refund that we brake it in the games! STUNTMAN
Architect
True, but ESS goggles are bombproof They will never brake mua ha ha ha!
STUNTMAN
Yeah I know that! I work as a Cameraman for the Portuguese TV, and several times I went to Wear Conflits, and use allways ESS googles. One of them went ruined, and they simply replace me free costs! But now I prefer to use my Eotech Hurricane Replica... it's less expensive! STUNTMAN
darkchild130
and on that note, is it possible to buy eotech hoods seperately? I like the look of the 553 hood but id be happy to own a hurricane replica as im too poor to buy a £300+ weapon sight. Darkchild

Jimisin73
I had a bit of a breakdown at the gun store on Friday night... Last thing I heard was somthing like "Milspec... ALL UR CASH AREZ BELONG TO US..." then everything went kind of wavey. Three hours later I awoke in the parking lot with an empty wallet, a missing car, no pants and this clutched in my trembling hands: Now it demands prime real estate on all my guns:
BiKeReX
my new eotech with GG&G mount.
mrblah
why'd you pick that mount over larue's? Just wondering since im in the market for either / or.
BiKeReX
I chose this one because it doesn't add any hight to the Eotech. Also, it's a bit cheaper. If you order from GG&G's website, you can get an eotech with a mount for just a bit more money. Edited June 12, 2007 by BiKeReX
mrblah
actually, i already have an eotech, i'm just looking for a mount. I actually need a riser also. I've found that when cowitnessing, the reticle of the eotech is too high... I prefer it to be lower.
