airsoft_maniac
Should I be worried of my Eotech glass being shot out if I play in woodland?
colwombat
I'd make one just in case. You could not by one and be fine for years, or you could not buy one and have a BB shatter the lens next week. Its always possible to make your own too. Just get a 1/4" sheet of Lexan (perspex for you brits) and cut it to size. A dremel works great, but if not, just a saw and some sand paper to fine tune the shape. 30 minutes worth of work is worth saving 100 bucks+ , but that could just be me

DWells55
Better safe than sorry. I had a decent quality reflex sight that got shot out at the very first game I fielded the thing. There's nothing worse than that feeling when you hear the two shots land and then *crack* *crack* of glass and have to force yourself to look down at your shattered sight. Though sounds like a nuisance to have to go through.

Vercingetorix
IIRC removing the hood voids warranty.... Otherwise I would have bought another hood and battery cover, and had them duracoated fde.....
TheReaper
This actually happened a year or two ago, don't think I ever posted it. Its been repaired, and i've now got a protector for the glass.
