A.F.O.
What do you think? Can it be done? Would it be worth it (ROF = 1600/min)? Where would you put the motors/gearbox/battery? Would an existing model be suitable or would a new one be better?
Dark Exodus
Whats wrong with taping two individual AEG's together?
cazboab
aye, duct tape two regular AEGs together.
gundam2000
best gearboxes would be version 6. good shape to put side by side and still have the trigger mechanisms somewhere else. I do not know what gun is wide enough to do that and look real. Interesting concept though.
prancing
It would be good if you could get them to fire one after the other to get the crazy rate of fire without needing a crazy gearbox and motor. How about this for an idea: Two gearboxes, two motors, two pistons but 1 barrel. Eh? The pistons would fire simultanously. You would have valves so that when one piston fires the other is cut from the air flow. Would that work?
FuGaZi
!!!!!!!!!!!!
Para
Taping two together is more pricy than modifying i suppose.
white_serpant
Why not put a motor in a TM shotgun?
Para
Is there enough room for motor, gears and battery?
prancing
It would be one powerfull motor. Those TM shotties are harder to cock than my ca870 firing at about 45fps
A.F.O.
Cool ideas -i like the shot gun one I was htinking that a P90 might be good, you could put another barrel where the mag is, and may be able to fit all the working parts in the rear of the stock... Any one handy with Photoshop?... (Im not)
Pendra
In my opinion get 2 P90s. Remove the handgrip section of one gun and rig the wires to the trigger of the other (intact) gun. Also remove everything that sticks out to the side. After that you can tape them together. You can stack up more P90s for increased rate of fire. I don't really see the possibiliy to mod the nozzle to service 2 hop-ups. There is simply not enough air in a normal AEG cylinder to fully propell 2 BBs in 2 barrels. Doing the way around (2 GB 2 piston 1 Hop-up) would be an a true engineering marvel I think. Also I don't really see the reason in having that kind of ROF on an AS battlefield (and for that matter, on any kind of modern battlefield today)
