You said no, so he trys to sell it on, is it that big of a deal? okay, some people would be able to tell the crack from a scratch, he obviously didn't he just looked at it to see the holes, most likely and passed the crack off as a scratch. He asked for a refund as he didn't realise this and you said no as you thought the picture was enough to show the crack, which is fair. He's trying to sell it on, for £40 with a case, bbs, 1xg19 mag and a g17 mag. I started this because Big Boy continued to PM me AND I found he was trying to sell the gun at the same time. I know he's your friend, but he's out of line on this one. Sledge, you've made your point, you've said what happened and thats really the end of it, it's available for everyone to see, but i don't actually think it's that big of a deal, you may disagree, thats my opinion and Big Boy you've obviously learnt or should have learnt to check things carefully when buying items, such as descriptions and pictures. he asked for a refund, i don't think that that means that no-one should buy from him, or sell to him, just when you selling something damaged or faulty, to anyone, then make sure you state it and make sure that the buyer knows the problems. If someone had expressed interest in the gun, then he probably would have told the buyer that he was awaiting PM from you or if you said that you would refund him, then he probably would have said that it was off the market. I'm just saying this from what i've seen, but he's not trying to scam you... or anyone... Sledge, have you recieved the money for the items and any money/items for things in the past? have there been any problems recieving the money/items from this and previous deals? so no scamming there, has he sold it to anyone yet? have you offered him a refund to? no, so you don't actually know if he was trying to scam anyone and it looks like he wasn't, it looks like he just jumped the gun in posting a thread. i've known him for a long time and he has never tried to scam anyone and i don't know why he would. Asking for a refund AFTER offering the gun in matter on the sales forums, might suggest that he tried to "double his money" by getting a refund from Sledge and selling the gun.
