PureSilver
Maruzen PPK/s with ZEKE PP conversion kit. That's a lot of money for such a small gun! What's the recoil like with green gas?
volante
That's a lot of money for such a small gun! What's the recoil like with green gas? If i use green gas with this, slide moves so fast i cannot feel any recoil! 134a gas is better for gun's life and recoil shock. It is weird lol.
Ivan le Fou
I am starting to think I shouldn't have sold mine.
quiksilver6184
You really shouldn't have. It's back! Edited June 1, 2012 by quiksilver6184
FireKnife
You really shouldn't have. It's back! Something about that really doesn't look like a P99 to me, maybe it is too blurred but it just doesn't, plus i thought for Skyfall they were sticking with the PPK as in QoS? quiksilver6184
Pretty sure that's a P99. Look at the trigger guard and the shape of the slide. I'll admit its not the best shot, but its capture from the teaser. I guess he will be using both, like he did in Casino Royale.
FireKnife
Though in Casino Royale it featured for all of a split second, just to finish off the guy in the pre credits sequence. However it would be good to see Bond actually use the P99 then switch out to the PPK when he runs dry, rather than just some unexplained way that he goes from the P99 to the PPK in QoS. Either way wish i had a PPK, even a PPK/S but i am not keen on the ACM ones or importing at all. 'FireKnife'
PureSilver
Maruzen with the Shooters Design kit, FireKnife?
quiksilver6184
I like the way one of my Bond production books put it. When Bond needs something easy to conceal in a suit, he uses the PPK. When concealment doesn't matter, he uses the P99. And it makes since when you think about it. In Quantum of Solace, Bond was on the move quite a bit and always had the PPK on him until he lost it after he jumped out of the plane. In Casino Royale, the few times he had the P99 on him, he was wearing more casual clothing, and the rest of the movie it was either in the DBS glove box, or in a parcel envelope at the hotel front desk. fiddlesticks4220
Bond... Why you no PPQ !?!?!?
FireKnife
That PPQ looks nice, airsoft one now As for the PPK / P99 issue the reason i was given is that in QoS it was meant to be set in a classic style, with nothing really futuristic and gadgety about it (unlike Die Another Day for example) so they gave Bond his old PPK back to add to this. However really it would be better to move him on to the PPS or something new for Walther (seeing as Walther has used the Bond films to show off their stuff, like the WA2000 in The Living Daylights or the P5 in Octopussy). But either way as nice as the PPK is, it is really not that useful in the modern day, or has been replaced by better options. 'FireKnife'

quiksilver6184
Very nice. Sub on a NATO. Very Connery.
BaggyPants
Not a NATO G10 (although I have one in the same pattern on my Seiko Chronograph), it was actually just a stripy strap in the colours shown on mine, with a curved buckle and a fabric keeper. Bonds strap was also 18mm, rather than the 20mm of the NATO G10 and my "Bond" copy, but then again, my Submariner is actually a copy of the Roger Moore 5513 Submariner, having the markings on the bezel between 12 and 3 and it has the crown protectors on the far side. It's a homage to Bond Edited June 20, 2012 by BaggyPants
BaggyPants
Finally got my PPK. ACM, but with a Maruzen magazine.
quiksilver6184
Bond's new gun: PPK/s with palm print grips. Anyone want to try their hand at making the grips?
FireKnife
Finally got my PPK Surely you mean PPK/S Though i had the Marushin NBB Secret Agent Service PPK, that was terrible Though as Bond has now moved up to a PPK/S i can see the ACM and Maruzen ones selling well, i myself may just buy one, had one before but i could always do with another for the lols. Wingman
And not a single marking or trade on the slide, frame or grips. Just as you'd want in a covert/spy sort of way. I actually like it. At least they went to .380 (9mm kurz/short-way way short) but it's better than the .32. I myself would like to see him use the new S&W Shield. Pretty sweet new offering from S&W based oh the M&P but much slimmer (7 shots of 9mm). S&W makes the PPK and PPKs anyway. But I now have the PPKs on my to get list. Now, someone make those grips and make me happy.
FireKnife
I myself would like to see him use the new S&W Shield. Pretty sweet new offering from S&W based oh the M&P but much slimmer (7 shots of 9mm). S&W makes the PPK and PPKs anyway. Wouldn't make Walther happy though, remember they use Bond films as product placement, like Aston Martin and Lotus back in the day too But i must admit a PPK does seem a bit underpowered or too classic, prehaps the PPS would have been a more understandable choice, though the P99 was a bit big for Bond too, 16 round mid size handgun? Nah needs to be small and compact with a classic or cool look. 'FireKnife'
validtumoralarm
H&K USP Compact. Compact Tactical if he needs to be fitting a suppressor. That's a right classy little handgun.
