I suppose it jsut depends how much you are willing to spend on ur DPMs for airsoft and how goot you quartermaster is to u for replacing batter kit for nice shiney new stuff.

Technically you shouldnt, i'm sure it was achargable offense wearing your kit unless on duty, on the way to work or a funtion liek a wedding in formal dress kit etc.

You see it's not *your* uniform its lizzies... you get *leant* it and it has to go back in.

If you shred your webbing skirmishing and you've had nothing but guard duties round lines for two months you'd bettter have an understanding QM or a good excuse when you have to exchange it.

Having said that, most my kit i wore on exercise etc was my own kit anyway, the stuff i wear for airsofting in Brit kit isnt my issue kit but it is what i used to wear.

Most my issue kit got handed in, i *lost* the guccier stuff and luckily Colour didnt really seem to notice...

Still lame ;)

Its passable on G36s as they were desiged to take cmags but on anything smaller it stinks of pray and spray....

Just my opinion... the ultimate sin is seeing em on g3sas , mp5s or worst of all sa80 varients.....

I like that last pic tallbloke. the team looks really professional. I wish i would get the pack to wear the same camo for just once (and have a camera there for pics) The only time we all looked alike was when only 5 of us went to phoenix urban in ACUs and black Load bearing gears.

Ive got a team of 22 so far the maximum wh have had out is 14. and getting every one to look similar is hard when you get the odd git who loves throwing a spanner in the works any chance he can get.

Got a deal on the current issue DPM assault vest (not sure about the model, but it comes right from Iraq apparently) for £30, negotiable. It is quite worn, at least the colours, but I don't mind. Do you think it is a good deal?

He got loads of stuff directly from the sandbox, I bought 2 L85A2 mags for £5 each...

I plan on doing a British-ish loadout, the guy's got cheap DPM and desert uniforms, maybe a boonie hat, with my M3Super90 (I doubt it is in use in the British Army, but I might buy a cheapo L96 later, for the hell of it)
