So we need a report to send a PM to all mods about spam posts on the forum?

Now, why didn't anybody think of that before?

You are missing the point here joeking. My idea would be for a system for reporting that would be more interactive and effieciant than the current system that is based on the PMs.

It would be similar to a subforum in the way that there would be unresolved and resolved types of "reports". When someone reports a post or thread that needs to be dealt with for whatever reason, a new "topic" would be made in this "subforum". It would be marked as "unread" for unresolved and "locked" for resolved.

Example:

I send a report in to the mods for a thread about orange tips and their removal. Elrey comes on and deals with it. Once he clean it up or closes it, the system could either automatically lock the thread or Elrey could lock it himself to show the other mods that the problem has been dealt with. This way the mods would have a history of all the reports made and they would be able to see what has been dealt with and what hasn't. It would save time, confusion, and, most of all, the mods sanity. Early it was said that it could be confusing to go to a reported thread and have nothing wrong with it because another mod had already been there and deleted the thread or what-have-you.
