I wonder if this one is more like the UTG MP5 in that it has a real gearbox, or if it's a plastic setup like the AK... EDIT: Ah, never mind. It says on the news page that it's the same deal as the AK, need to drop in a TM gearbox. At least you don't have to sacrifice a G36 though! This product probably makes a little more sense than the AK. Hopefully it's body is well made. Link to post Share on other sites

Tank Posted October 24, 2005 Report Share Posted October 24, 2005 They say you can "drop in" a TM gearbox but you can't. You can put one in but it takes a little modification to the body of the gun. The wires are on a TM G36 gearbox are too short to reach into the battery compartment, so you'd need to extend them. Ortherwise you have to disassemble the gun to install/change batteries. You can use TM mags but again, it requires a little modification. Link to post Share on other sites
