Smoke
Hi all, Just a simple question really, and yes, I have searched... Is there much of a difference between the G&P Aimpoint replica, and the Guarder NB-09 Aimpoint replica? Not that fussed about which one looks more like the real deal, mainly interested in the quality of the optics. Cheers in advance, Smoke.
unimatrix001
The Guarder NB-09 is internally better than the G&P, the dot is brighter an has more brightness settings. A compromise would be the Guarder NB-13. Looks like the real one, better than the G&P, but not as bright as the NB-09.
Smoke
Excellent, thanks for the quick reply. So if you had a choice between the G&P and the NB-09 at the same price, you'd go for the Guarder? Thanks again, Smoke.
Manxmadman
I would choose to yes, I currently use the Guarder NB-09 on my M4 and with its 11 brightness settings its perfect for basically any light situation, or so I've found. Had it for about 3 years now and its still in perfect condition, though you will probably want to get a Killflash (or similar device) for any red dot you get as the glare has given my position away a couple of times. Smoke
Hmmmm. Just noticed AA are doing the Kingarms red/green dot for £60 with a cantilever mount. Damn, I really can't decide.
