I've pretty much decided what I'm gunna get for my multicam'ed load out. I'm 14 and this is stretching my budget so tell me if there's anything better value but similar to the things I'm after.

http://ebaybanned.com/product_info.php?cPa...products_id=139 - Fake multicam BDUs

http://ebaybanned.com/product_info.php?cPa...products_id=949 - Cheap goggles for occaisional back garden skirmishes and putting under...

http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airs...il?prodID=22164 - These goggle protectery things

http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airs...il?prodID=23397 - A G&P USMC helmet which will be painted tan

http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airs...il?prodID=22807 - Pantac Wasatch

http://www.polimil.co.uk/acatalog/Oakley_S...ove__31_14.html - Oakley SI assult gloves in tan

That's all I can think of now. And I'll have to see how much money I get for my birthday next month to find out if i can afford the gloves, unless I get these ( http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airs...il?prodID=19862 ) instead. Which I don't look as good but are 1/3 of the price.

What do you think? I'm not trying to copy anything in particular but I just think multicam looks good.

Don't cheap out on your eye protection. Buy some ESS goggles or a similar brand and they'll come with a little protector like you were going to buy additionally.

On the opposite end, don't spend a ton on your gloves if you're strapped for cash. Gloves are cheap and easy to find, and almost any pair will do the trick. They don't have to be "leet" to be effective.

Unless you're set on the Wasatch there are other vests on Ebaybanned or RSOV that are replicas and will do the trick for a bit cheaper. I'm not saying the PANTAC Wasatch is bad, far from it. But you can get a vest in MC on the cheap elsewhere.

Well for a start, I wouldn't buy from Redwolf, especially if your only going for a few items, shipping will be a bomb ;) - Buy from eHobby-Asia - Its a renowned eBay store. :)

Gigueand is very much correct. Do not cheap out on eye protection! There are good ones on eHA made by Guarder**, they are what I currently use, probs going up for sale soon as well :P

The rest seems ok. Its good to start off cheap, as with time you can always upgrade :)

** Though they are shooting glasses, and not goggles.

Grim - Tactical Tailor make a similar holster as seen Here - Can be bought from most places :) - Actually its a little different :P

Well, I chose the Wasatch because it was cheap, other vests are cheaper but the ones I've seen don't include any pouches, I think I'll stick with it and postage isn't too bad, $40 for the helmet, vest and gloves.

The only cheap (around $60) ESS goggles I can find in stock are the land ops ones which look a little thick to be looking down sights with. Where else can I buy goggles from? I've looked at redwolf and WGC. I would prefere ESS just to apease the geardo in me :) And as I said I won't be using them for normal skirmishes until I'm 16 due to the rules of most UK airsoft site, just for fun with friends and the look. I don't really care about

The helmet was concerning me most, as I've never seen anything like it in any of the pic threads, its usually just mich's but I liked the distress marker/fan bit in this one.

Thanks for your help so far!

Matt

Grim, i had a fake MC thigh holster that i noticed was "modular" in that all the straps could be removed without actually cutting anything. It was a series of velcro closures and whatnot. In any case, i took all the thigh-rigging off and got some velcro and some nylon webbing that i had laying around and sewed some half-assed MOLLE straps on the back. I sewed them on on an angle so that the holster would be canted when mounted to my FSBE.

It isn't very stable and i'd only use it for display purposes and not for field use, as it bounces around a bit and the velcro isnt super-secure. If you're better at sewing/making tac gear try it, but buying some like kliskey is recommending is the better way for something if you wanted to have it be skirmishable.
