CapaciousZepher
Ach, I hadn't really looked into multi-cam before but now I'm offically hooked. Especially crye precision stuff, moi! If only it weren't so darned pricey or I was really rich. Either would work. Lovely stuff in this thread by the way. Cheers! - CapaciousZepher
LoneWolf
Sadly I'm not going to contribute to this thread much, because eventhough I looooove MC, I went the Khaki Cordura route. Cheers, Mike ™

Bauer CTU
I have been lookin everywhere. Where is the cheapest place to get MC whether it be used or new.
PlasticMag
Mate, have you checked out the mulitcam website or looked for comparison photos between MARPAT and MC and ACU and MC *that ones a given*. The difference is amazing, and the MC just plain works. www.multicampattern.com <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes, I have, and it's great advertising but it's rigged to sell Multicam. Never trust the manufacturer to honestly and fairly represent a product. Honest manufacturers loose money. Multicam isn't probably the best, but it IS one of the best. although I've never heard of this TTskO pattern, any pics? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I wouldn't even go that far. A good tigerstripe pattern any day will kick Multicam's *albatross*. It's all about how the eye sees light and interprets it. I'll dig up the article some day. TTsKO: http://www.kamouflage.net/camouflage/en_00011.php Same basic principle, a little less refined, but just as potent. Want my list of the best camo patterns in the world? Keep in mind that I'm an armchair camo designer, but I understand how and why the stuff works. Yugo M89 - http://www.kamouflage.net/camouflage/en_00094.php Tigr - http://www.kamouflage.net/camouflage/en_00031.php VSR - http://www.kamouflage.net/camouflage/en_00019.php Rastr - http://www.kamouflage.net/camouflage/en_00114.php Viet Tiger - http://www.kamouflage.net/camouflage/en_00187.php Notice MARPAT and CADPAT aren't on there, though they are undeniably good in some circumstances. My biggest issue with MARPAT is that I can see the user too darn well. I have a much harder time finding a tigerstripe pattern. Multicam is useless on most of the fields/conditions we play in. Bondisthespy
desert tiger stripe is sexy.
Skarclaw
Pretty much none of those camos except maybe the rastr and tiger would work were I play.
chin
Well were I play multicam is the dogs b.....cks, heres one in bush and another with a dessert background note the colours are very similar, I dont think a Tiger Stripe would work well here too dark, as you can see, but it all depends on the terrain youre in, but overall I think multicam is the best cause its alot more versatile in different terrains
LoneWolf
Me thinks MultiCam will work perfectly in Italy Huzzah. Gotta get some. Cheers, Mike ™
Crandall
remember Crandall saying that it doesn't work well where he is <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Indeed, where I play is all shadows and tress, MC would stick out like a sore thumb there.
APOLLO
One of the fields I play at has a very dense forest with alot of shadows and my friend was wearing his multicam and lying prone and our CO who was about 10 ft from him couldnt see him. Then later and enemy patrol came within a ft of him and they didnt even notice him.
Bondisthespy
dark woods...multicam. notice the woodland bdu clad shooter compared to the multicam user in this darken setting. Edited March 21, 2006 by Bondisthespy

If you buy @ Crye directly you got to pay 90$ for shipment ..they only use UPS...very expensive.

Just like what happened with MARPAT and everything else.

Cali
I think you're right about the copyright, but it comes in 3 materials, one of which is Cordura: http://www.multicampattern.com/MATERIALS.htm
