FireKnife
See in my opinion hoax or not that is something you should punish. At the end of the day both are tantamount to bullying and can lead to a very series set of consequences. What if it drives someone over the edge? Hoax or not you don't want damage or blood on your hands. At the end of the day it is just abusive and proves how stupid and ignorant people. I myself worked with people with all sorts of low level disabilities (those that could work but are deemed by the council as 'unfit for work') at a wood recycling workshop and they called each other all sorts of names that others would think were offensive (that whole African people calling each other the N word etc) but they were all in the same boat and made fun of it. Now that is different, using it in this context, especially in type where you can't convey a hoax or a real voicing of opinion in the same way. It just isn't right to be that way about anyone that has to live with such a disability. 'FireKnife'
Smoke
Slightly less serious.... Ben Affleck being cast as Batman.... What the *fruitcage* *fruitcage*? Fair enough, Bale was always going to be a tricky act to follow (not a big Bale fan, but he was awesome in the role), but Affleck?? He was as Daredevil, and will be worse as The Dark Knight. It has killed what was already a dubious film for me.

Habakure
Just read this regarding the letter:- http://globalnews.ca/news/794324/not-a-hate-crime-but-writer-of-autism-letter-already-being-punished/ It does make some interesting and valid points, but it does make me think, that people who can't defend themselves should be protected from those, that have admitted wanting to cause harm. If the letter isn't a hoax, the person who wrote needs to have a sit down with a specialist and work on their anger. Rant:- this is a first world problem; rant. Too many movies to choose from, just can't decide what to watch.

Too many movies to choose from, just can't decide what to watch. I'm always quite torn on this type of thing. Personally I think the police should investigate it fully and as they would any other crime. We can only guess at the state of mind of whoever wrote it, and to be honest, to try is a bit pointless... Simply because of the amount of potential options as it were. Any view we take is based on our own experiences - not theirs, so are pretty much irrelevant. Where I'm torn is on media coverage of it and such like. Sure, it raises awareness and is often a catalyst for debate... On the other hand, it has the tint of a freak show wearing a thin veil of morality. Seconded on the "what to watch" problem

Habakure
More like attacked you, looks like the beginning of a werewolf movie. It just scratched me, honest guv'narr. Ggggrrrrrrrr. Rant:- nearly gave into coffee today, so had Irn Bru instead (one of those cans that you normally get lager in. Hard core sugar).
Tinkerton
why have you given up coffee?
Habakure
Starting to get addicted to it (up to four cups a day). Don't like the fact I was beginning to relie on it for keeping me awake. Just a personnel choice, not basing it off of medical advice or anything like that.
Tinkerton
is it weird I dont have time to get addicted to coffee? I *fruitcage* LOVE the stuff, but i barely have enough time to make a cup in the morning with breakfast, and never get a chance at work and if i have anything after about 4pm i stay awake for practically the entire night... Habakure
Stay at home parent, trust me, I can find the time to make at least three cups a day.
Smoke
Stay at home parent, trust me, I can find the time to make at least three cups a day. 3 or 4 cups a day is bad?? That's pretty much pre elevenses for me!? I did try going decaff in the evening, but it just doesn't seem the same.
Azubi
3 or 4 cups a day is bad?? That's pretty much pre elevenses for me!? Aye, same here! Most of my colleagues too. A three heaped-teaspoon coffee is my good morning brew.
Smoke
Aye, same here! Most of my colleagues too. A three heaped-teaspoon coffee is my good morning brew. Have you tried the Millicano stuff from Kenco? Considering it's instant, it's pretty good. Fortunate really, as Starbucks is temptingly close... And can end up costing me a fortune. Some days working a long shift in a Central London Hospital could end up with £30 dumped into their tills, which for a few coffees is a bit daft, but hey.
amateurstuntman
I don' like coffee but I am hopelessly addicted to McDonald's Caramel Frappes. I'm jonesing for one right now. Also, on the way home from the wedding I didn't want to go to yesterday the car caught fire. Nice.
Azubi
I'll have to give it a go, smoke. At the moment I am drinking 'Rocket Fuel' which tastes quite nice but Sainsburys have stopped stocking it for some reason. :/ I used to hate coffee and it was the Starbucks Frappes that got me started. Smoke
I've just asked the missus what a frappe is... She says it's like a coffee slushpuppy? Seriously?? That doesn't sound nice... Coffee should be hot! It's like iced tea... Tasted *suitcase* with milk and two sugars!
Azubi
When it's 50 degrees out, last thing you want is a hot coffee and Starbucks would let us in during prayer time. A coffee slush puppy was just the thing!

amateurstuntman
I actually quite like iced tea too. The peach flavour one is excellent.
bladerunner168
Iced tea of the milky type is actually very popular in Asia, same as iced coffee. There is this drink in Hong Kong called Ying Yang, half coffee, half tea. Sounds disgusting, but weirdly palatable.
FireKnife
I must be the only person I know that doesn't drink hot beverages full of caffine. Never been a big fan of them and starting to go off typical soft drinks now. Still a good bit of fruit juice always works for me like the smooth orange that Innocent an Copella do. As for an actual moan don't have one. Though the fact I am getting pushed to book my holiday off is annoying (turns out I have three weeks left and they run out in end of December).
