Griff762
Maybe it could be as simple as people liking the look of a civilian AR15 to a mil spec one.
Habakure
That would be madness. I mean bat *suitcase* crazy.

Habakure
It's those damned meddling kids. . . Abscess burst in my mouth today. Que me throwing up due to the taste, but then feeling oddly euphoric. All that pressure gone (for a bit).
shmook
^grimmest thing ever.
scorch
I had a tooth extracted (badly) once. Left a shard stuck in like a splinter, which then caused the gum to swell up with pus. That was somewhat less than delicious when it burst open to reveal the sharp chunk of tooth (which I then pulled with a friends leatherman)
Got Wood?
I'm trying to find a picture of my acutely infected tonsils...
amateurstuntman
I've never vomited without wanting to. It's a super power, I could drink pus with a straw and hold it down.

Spudgun
Great subject! I'm 54. With my age, you get receding gums. With receding gums, you're more prone to getting the odd abscess or two. My last abscess conked out about two weeks ago. You do get used to the taste of pus. It's green. It's slimy. It's a sign that you're getting better!
Habakure
Well, I made myself sick as puss in the stomach isn't the best (especially with my history of ulcers, best not to open up that chapter again). Though it did take the attention (in my mouth) away from my chipped tooth. Maybe I should put that in the happy thread (though it might make people unhappy)?

Alias1983
I find this as well. It really surprises me how so many people build civilian M4s, rather than military stylesM4 mws is the newest old school style, I hate front sight posts.everyone and there cat has a mk18 or mk12 or something like that. So many block 2 builds at my local. Here I am I build this. Then they all ask how I get around the cqc arena with a 16" barrel gun. Easy, I shot first and know how to pie the doorway. If I were to do a military style "m4" it would be a 416. But this is hot for a bog standard mws. Also I can't have an automatic weapon so I replicate my ar 15 for memory. Habakure
It's raining and I can't go for a walk (missus having a well deserved lie in and I'm minding the children). Sad face.
Mike_West
No hot water for the third day in a row. Also, I finally unlocked my first non-default character in Dirty Bomb, by mindlessly grinding until 2AM.
Hardcore1-6
Decided to get dangerously drunk on Thursday and didn't open Outlook until now.Two days of emails plus weekend warriors attacking the email chains..Holy hell. Added bonus is my bar tab now has two bottles of jager and three bottles of champagne stamped on it.
Cannonfodder80
No hot water for the third day in a row. I know how you feel, my boiler packed up last week and filling a bath using the kettle and pots full of water on the stove is a real ballache. I now have a new boiler fitted and we're about £1300 lighter
scorch
Beer barrel im citting in half made a mockery of the HSS blades for the jigsaw. I now have half a dozen blades either snapped or with melted flat teeth. And yes, I was lubricating it. Time to cop a loan of an angle grinder. Oh it's on you shiny cylindrical *bramston pickle*.
amateurstuntman
Beer barrels are made of wood? If you mean frothy water then they are soft aluminium. In that case HSS are the wrong blades. You want bigger teeth and a slower blade for a soft metal.
DeltaZero
Not all beer barrels are wood.. The kegs of Doombar, Tribute and others from the pub I worked in last all came in smaller aluminium drums.
shmook
What stunt said. Ali kills blades. If grinding, get a disc suitable for it or they clog and don't cut. Which some people try and solve with more pressure. Catastrophic failure of a disc is never fun...!
scorch
This barrel is steel. I magnet checked it before buying the blades. The pack said suitable for steel on it.
shmook
Cheap blades? How thick is the steel, roughly?
scorch
Stanley blades. So not really cheap. The steel I reckon is 2mm thick at most. Obviously it's hard to tell though. On the bright side, I got to test out my spanky new Surefire ear plugs. Should stop my tinnitus getting worse at the next CQB game I have planned on the 15th.

The ear plugs we were supplied with were and I lost quite a bit of hearing because of it.
