scorch
The paracord is temporary, as is the .22 blank. I have some proper tripwire coming, and a mate is sorting me out a few 12g saluting blanks.

shmook
They are legal for pests. It gets a grey area if they can be determined for use against people. You've also got the noise issue late at night, but that's a council matter, and it has to happen lots for them to get off their fat arses and do something other than moan about how bad they have it... scorch
I'll take your judgement, but personally, I don't see how it's a grey area. It makes a noise and a bit of a flash. If scumbag steve didn't want to get a fright, he shouldn't have been skulking around someone's garden at night.

Fully agree, I really do, but our legal system is a joke.
paranoiddroid
I'm using an adaptor for .209 primers in mine to keep the shrapnel *suitcase* from hurting anything. Also.have a co2 powder mine ready to use.
Desolation mkII
Caught someone telling people he was a former Para in a club. He didn't look the type. After grilling him, it turned out he was Medically Discharched two weeks into basic training and that was as far as he ever got. darkchild130
I always ask them their score on P company, and make up events and arbitrary scoring systems that don't exist. *fruitcage* walts. Darkchild
FireKnife
Given most people I know that are current or ex-forces don't even remotely brag about it, most of the people I encounter that do are talking bull. Plus asking them to even give you basic things like the capacity and full calibre of a L85 confuses most walts. 'FireKnife'
Habakure
Just ask them 'what colour is the boat house at Hereford'.
FireKnife
And ambush them with a cup of coffee? Only Sean Bean can have that done to him, if he doesn't die he just gets thrown out anyway. 'FireKnife'
Desolation mkII
Nah, I know plenty of squaddies that throw around the army card if they think it will get them laid.
darkchild130
all my mates do the exact opposite. I don't think being a squaddy has ever gotten any of us laid! Darkchild
Hardcore1-6
I live in Belfast. More likely to get knee capped in an alley than laid.
Azubi
toys well and truly out the pram today. Gobshite customer asks me to change the manuals with no reason why. I ask him why, and he complains to my boss and I get a *badger*ing. That throbber is getting everything rejected from now on. *beep*.
hitmanNo2
Had some dealings with pissants this week with unwarranted complaints too so I feel your pain. You just want to strangle them huh.
scorch
Had some dealings with pissants this week with unwarranted complaints too so I feel your pain. You just want to strangle them huh. My life every day. Also, got an issue bush hat and it doesn't sit right. Clearly some kind of mod is required.
scorch
Hole in my radiator. *badger*s.
Desolation mkII
all my mates do the exact opposite. I don't think being a squaddy has ever gotten any of us laid! Darkchild None of my mates would either, but I have seen it happen. I think working in a bar, you just seem to come accross the worst type of people, when they are at their lowest level of common sense.
Tw1tch
Reading up on Call To Duty's July event and knowing I won't be able to go due to financesand more importantly my ankle. Looks awesome.
Tw1tch
Just had to spend £110 on getting a locksmith out to get into my room and change the lock. Given the dodgy landlord I reckon I won't be able to get him to cough up for it despite the lock being buggered.
shmook
Car decided to dump a load of coolant while on the motorway today. Filled it up, limped home and it's empty again. I *fruitcage* hate *bramston pickle* cars.
Habakure
It might be a small leak (happened to my wife's fiesta and it was an easy enough fix). Not something you want oto do, but it doesn't cost too much to fix (thank *fruitcage*). Edited February 22, 2015 by Habakure
