Big Viking Posted January 22, 2008 Report Share Posted January 22, 2008 so do i then again it only arrived today   I am looking at getting one of those, but I have been a bit put off by a single comment in the review forum that says that the 27mm mini moscarts don't hold their gas.  Can anyone reassure me that they work? Â Â Â Â No need for shells....this is a cheap-*ss M203's a BOYI springer with a chopped barrel I threw on my M4. At least I made match with the rest of the gun, lol. Â It had a five-round magazine but I never found a mag spring big enough to feed more than 3 of those, operated on a reverse pump action system with the barrel as the pump, ejected shells straight up through the massive ejection port, was a bit heavy when loaded and tough to get a comfortable hold on, and provided much joy in attempting to load the integral magazine. Â Was it cool? Yes. Did I want to deal with loading all the shells and getting them into the gun and keeping track of their ejection, etc? No. Would I build another? Definitely no. It said 1.5 inch, but i measured the outer diameter at around 1.65 or so. The inside was a little tight, so I had to sand it out to make it wide enough. Took about 3 hours.
