ZiRo Posted December 4, 2005 Report Share Posted December 4, 2005 Basically the jack is the right width, just not the right length for my socket. My Radio is an Uniden 885 PMR.. Basically the firefox jack is identical to the one on my radio, except the jack is a too long for the hole and compared to the original headset jack length. Any solutions? Thanks I think a cobra 1 pin adapter would do it but i'm interested to hear from airsoftmart. Link to post Share on other sites
airsoftmart Posted December 4, 2005 Report Share Posted December 4, 2005 Hi The Uniden 885 PMR is a untested radio As such it is not listed on the Compatibility list We have no idea if it will work with the one pin cobra adaptor The pin outs are in different place for the one pin cobra adaptor and its shorter I think the reason it is not working is due to pin outs Firefox has the same problem with binatone radios they just don't work I feel the only option we have is to ask you to return the unit to us for a refund Mark Link to post Share on other sites
