Sgt. Baker
My Kimber, mostly custom parts. Based off a WA SCW Wilson Combat. Metal Frame and slide (PGC), real gunner grips and Streamlight M3. Thanks
donnie
Posted before - but what the hell - full metal goodness
hkmp5roxs
Nice Kimbers. For those of you who own full metal Kimbers is it worth the money?
donnie
Dont have a ABS one to compare it too....but I almost always try for metal.... This one is as nice to feel as it looks - the main benifit of metal is its cold when you stick it down your pants.
hkmp5roxs
Ewwww! That was disguisting but I guess that is one reason to get metal.
Silent-Panther
First of all, very very nice Kimber Donnie. But I am confused. To me your gun looks like a cross between the TLE/RL II and a Desert Warrior but then I looked closely and saw that it was a TLE/RL II. Then i noticed the extractor. When I compared yours to a real steel picture of the same gun, the extractor looked different. Can someone please enlighten me as to why? Thanks. Posted before - but what the hell - full metal goodness <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
BigAl
Well lookin at the pictures the differance is the RS has one, the Airsoft doesn't.
Silent-Panther
Yeah I was just wondering why though. I thought WA were exact copies. Either way, sexy lookin gun.
Gene
If that will deter you from buying a gun, then airsoft is not for you
Silent-Panther
I wasn't making a criticism I just thought WA were exact copies.
enzo100
now with Safariland 6004, will be full metal soon, and real gunner grips are on the way as well
Catchv22
Doesn't the one on the left have an extractor?
sp00n
I wasn't making a criticism I just thought WA were exact copies. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> They are, that is not a WA slide. I'm guessing its Prime or PGC.
Shao14
http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a239/trd...er/DSCF1117.jpg Doesn't the one on the left have an extractor? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That's a real steel. But the WA has a fake one (not sure what happened to donnie's). You can see it on mine
Catchv22
Oh, he editted his post. I never read that last bit. But yeah, I thought airsoft Kimbers did have fake extractors.
hitmanNo2
On the metal kits, the extractor is a separate part. It could have been lost or never put on in the first place.
donnie
WHO THE HELL NICKED MY EXTRACTOR???????
Silent-Panther
ROFL!! You should replace that, it would make your Kimber look that much better.
hkmp5roxs
Anyone have a silenced Kimber?
HaVoC
Real Coyote Brown Simonich/Strider Gunner grips coming soon, I hope. 4 mags. Gemtech TRL. The standard replica grips are atrocious (like something you'd get from a poor quality Xmas cracker... ) so I took the spray paint to 'em, which has made 'em bareable for now. It's one of the first run, too, with the original 'Kimber' trades (as opposed to the 'Kinber' trades... ). Better pics to come tomorrow when the light is better (anything's better than no light, mind you ). Edited December 18, 2005 by HaVoC
wasted__youf
Nice. Full metal, Havoc?
BigAl
Obviously not, note what he said about the trades. Nice gun, though I don't get why people like those wafer biscuit grips!
donnie
I like the biscuits. Dont know about HAVOCs but my grips are "impervious to radiation" .... apparently. Very usefull while airsofting. 8)
hkmp5roxs
Down with biscuit grips. They just make me hungry. Just kidding but they take away the tactial look.
hkmp5roxs
Does anyone know what would be needed to make a silenced Kimber TLE/RL II? Thanks!
