david3558
Quoted from UKASC.net: Springtime or STTi are releasing a full metal P226 replica, a TM clone down to the railed frame. The pistol should be fairly resonably priced for whats on offer as these guns can usually take green gas / propane out of the box.
screamin_weasel
wow. that looks good.
NamantH
any clues on pricing yet?
schneiderboy
thats cool news
DarkLite
Told you there would be a KJW FMV p226.
BakaBox
I'm getting a P226 soon, and wouldn't mind metal. Still, TM is reliable and cheap, with good power and blowback. A STTI/KJ product tend to be a little sluggish.
PlasticMag
Eh, I want a WE one. KJW... Blargh.
david3558
Actually this one is coming from the same manufacturer as "WE". They are just rebranded products. The weight is approx. 1150 grams, and some say the slide and frame WILL fit the Marui one. We'll just have to wait and see.
Hissing_Sid
Eh, I want a WE one. KJW... Blargh. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Actually this one is coming from the same manufacturer as "WE". <{POST_SNAPBACK}> FWIW, popular opinion has it that WE is a reseller of HFC products and that STTi is affiliated with KJW in much the same way that KSC and KWA are linked. That gun doesn't have the gunmetal finish which has become a trademark of HFC guns recently. Gotta say, if it's metal, under £100 and it works with Marui mags I'll buy one and grind the bloody ugly rail off it.
5thElement
More than likely will be under £100, all the other STTI gas pistols have been anyway. Looks promising wonder what kinda power it'll put out, im sure the Socom they released was pushing something crazy like 400+ fps lol
Lance Jackass
Why grind the rail off it? I take it the original was sans rail then?
Hissing_Sid
Why grind the rail off it? I take it the original was sans rail then? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It just looks butt-ugly with the rail. Personally, I'd rather my M190 didn't have a rail either.
skyler8158
*edited out to avoid confusion* Nevermind, I was thinking of Viper USA as an importer.
Utty
Hmm! If the metal quality is decent, like the KJW Para, this might be a good source for a cheap full metal kit for the TM. There are other cheap kits, but none that are pre-fitted into working order. Nice! 5thElement -> I can tell you that. It'll be the same as the TM. It won't be anything like the mk23, which is a NBB. Utty
You think so? I think his point was "STTI wow lol 400fps omfg".
systema
Nice news, lucky I sold my TM one then...
HaVoC
Not bad. No trades, but that can be rectified somehow, I'm sure. Put a new recoil spring in, and it's all good
TMC
It just looks butt-ugly with the rail. Personally, I'd rather my M190 didn't have a rail either. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The rail doesn't do anything to the gun's function, so really, why grind it off? You might regret it in the future.... Holmes
Pretty easy on the trades. Just take it down to a trophy shop with pics of the real trades and have them engrave them for you.
Catchv22
KJW/WE can always be expected to make copies in full metal now. Hopefully someone besides WA will come out with a 1911 for them. PS. I hate the rail frames too.
Holmes
I have to say that I am a fan, mainly because I might want to put a light on it someday. Every time I look at my KJW M92FS, I wish it had a surefire on it. But no rail. What I am saying is that for some people, it is better to have the option than not at all. Sledge
It's easier for the three people who want and will use a rail to add one, than for the rest of us to remove them.
