Qhs
GnG (http://www.gunsnguys.com/home_ns.htm) got the new Magna Tech 1911s from WA. 4 Variants. Check it out.
Utty
Aha, so it seems the SCW3 and Magna Tech models are not the same? SCW3 being the normal high price and Magna Tech being the new cheap price. I'd really like to get my hands on that 1911a1.
snowman
I wonder how close to the SCW3s, the Magna Techs are? If it's just the slide and frame material that's different, these would make a great base for full metal guns Cheers.
EvilCookie
Soooo temtping! I've always wanted a 1911A1 but I think I'll bite my tounge and wait for a review.
Utty
If I wasn't in the process of buying a house and another car, I'd be ordering right now. Rrrgh. Those cheap magnatechs intrigue me.

If it's just the slide and frame material that's different, these would make a great base for full metal guns Cheers. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Judging by the WA website (translated into english), I came to the conclusion that the MagnaTech is the same internally as the WA SCW3.. It just uses a "cheaper" ABS slide.
Crandall
Must Buy M1911....
fal
so magnatech is essentialy identical to SCW3, except the slide material? Can anyone confirm this? would any of metal slide designed for scw lines would fit in?

Can anyone confirm this? would any of metal slide designed for scw lines would fit in? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> i don't think PGC or prime or shooters design have the metal upgrades available yet esp when the SCW 3 have just released. SCW2 and SCW wouldn't fit the SCW3 so the only way is to wait wait wait for them to blend into the SCW3 first. i really wish they would come up with something new for their metal kits. Les Baer kits perhaps...hmmm yum!!

screamin_weasel
these are now in at www.airsoftlgobal.com. $109 - i was hoping for an instantly skirmishable, cheap, standard looking 1911 for my Nam loadout - is this it ?
EvilCookie
Just seems too good to be true! A WA 1911A1 with the "parkerized" finished, able to run on grene gas according to redwolf, 21 round capacity, good detail and all for under $110? I'm so tempted but I'm still skeptic. Mouse
GnG (http://www.gunsnguys.com/home_ns.htm) got the new Magna Tech 1911s from WA. 4 Variants. Check it out. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I know this is mentioned, but just to confirm, the Kimber warrior and desert warrior feature SCW3 but are still upto WA's usual standard, hense the price. Best price I've seen them at so far is at GnG. Well, check out the image on airsoft global here: http://airsoftglobal.com/product_info.php?...7a15323105d29f0 It certainly doesn't look too bad to me. Not so sure I'd risk it on green gas, seeing as normal WA's aren't the best guns to run on green due to damage to slide/frame, so lower quality WA's will probably have the same problem. I'd certainly say it looks good for a 'nam loadout Weasel. The lower quality, less perfect look would be very fitting for a war-torn 'nam look IMO Over at War4, they list them with sand grips. These aren't kimber style ones, they seem entirely original. Do they all come with these? Or is this just something War4 have put on? Mouse
I'd hardly call ABS *beep*.. You know what I meant
Utty
The lightweight ABS may actually be stronger than the HW ABS, if it's the same kind of lightweight ABS TM use.
