Raygis LasVegas
The G&G RK-104 seems very solid. Does anybody know how does the barrel attach to the reciever? I know that the TM AK47, is attached by sliding the front end into the reciever and it is then held in place by 4 screws from the bottom. The G&G RK-104 does not appear to use screws. Is the front end permanently attached to the reciever via rivets?
spb
I'm not 100% sure about it 'cause I didn't take my 104 apart but my Guarder AK has +/- the same built. I think that those screws hold the outer barrel to the receiver. The inner barrel & hop are attached to the reciever with the other twe screws ( lower ones ).
kronic
My guess, by looking at those pictures is that it's similar to the Guarder kits. Unscrew the screws SPB has highlighted and slide the barrel out forwards. Be careful with the hop unit though... Try undoing the hop unit support screws too... as they maybe attached to the barrel. I forgot to do this on my guarder kit, pulled the barrel and smashed my hop unit on the sightblock... oopsy
