ColDaz
Hi, Any help is appreciated with identifying this pistol, which I believe to be a Para-Ordnance of some kind, or some other 1911. Here are the best pictures I could find (which for reference are from the Season 2 Episode The Lost Boys of Stargate Atlantis): A good side view that leads me believe it's a Para-Ord. A similar shot. A decent shot that lets you see much of the pistol. As usual, and help is appreciated. I'm currently looking around Redwolf/AirsoftArmoury etc. Thanks, Daz EDIT: A possible candidate is a Western Arms Para-Ordnance P14.45 such as on WGshop, or maybe even a Western Arms Para-Ordnance H.R.T. Special Pekerized, though neither have the raised rear sight such as on a Western Arms Wilson Combat FBI Trial Pitsol ( S.C.W. Ver. 2 ). I'll try to find pictures of them. Ubar
i though the paras where double stacked? the grip looks kinda thin there :?
ColDaz
I can't really think of much else that it might be, hence asking here. I'd like ot get as close as possible, but I think I could live with a wider grip .
Trasher
It's a single stack 1911. Not Para-Ordnance, simple SA, not LDA... Hundreds of models, dozens of manufacturers out there.
selfexiled
Somethings that are worth noting. Dovetail grip safety Novak Sights Enlarged Thumb safety, possibly an ambi dexterous Trigger seems to be skeletonized Whatever has those characteristics will serve as a fit clone of that 1911 you want
ColDaz
Yeh, I think I'll just go with a pretty standard black 1911, and see if I can find one with similar sights and trigger. Thanks for the help.
Sledge
My KJW P14 looks almost exactly like that, but I think the grip is a little wider.
ColDaz
Ah right. I'll have a quick look round some retailers for one. Don't suppose you have any pictures handy? If not, don't go to the effort, just if they are at hand. Cheers. EDIT: Found the review on this site, but still, if youhave any pics, be nice to see them.
Sledge
Thieved from Airsoft Scotland (haven't taken pics of mine, not sure whether to keep it)
ColDaz
Oke doke, cheers. I guess I'll be going with that then. Well, for my birthday. If you don't mind me asking, what's the reason you might not be keeping it?
Sledge
Nothing bad, it's just I've already got a double stack .45 in my Hi Capa which is slightly better, IMHO. And the Hi Capa "fits" me better, seems to sit in my hand better.
